Earlier, Parag Tyagi who essayed the titular role in Brahmarakshas was
eased out of the show to bring a twist in the plot. His character was killed
and Kishwer Merchant took over the demonic role. But, this didn’t go down well
with the audiences and the ratings of the show dropped majorly. After trailing
out its slot in the top 5 shows, the makers have decided to bring Parag back in
the show!
A smiling Parag conveyed his joy to a famous tabloid,
“Brahmarakshas is close to my heart. When my character died, I got emotional.
It took me two days to accept it. But it was a creative call taken by the
makers. I was missing shooting for it, but then I moved on.”
During that period, Tyagi got a proposal from Ram Gopal
Verma for Sarkar 3 in which he is essaying the right-hand man of
Amitabh Bachchan in the movie. “Raman (his character) is mute, but he is
extremely dangerous. It’s challenging and great fun shooting for the
film," told the actor.
With his return to Brahmarakshas, Parag will concurrently
shoot for the serial as well as the film. “Luckily, I am shown to be a big
dangerous guy in both. Before I started shooting for the serial, I had gained
eight kilos. RGV wanted me to be the same size for the movie too, and now that
I am back in the show, it works for me,” revealed Parag.
