Sanjay Gupta’s limited-edition surprise for John Abraham!

Sanjay Gupta really values John Abraham, who is both acting in and producing his next project Mumbai Saga.

And he recently gave JA a very expensive token of his appreciation that feeds John’s love for mean machines! Sanjay surprised the superstar with a limited-edition Isuzu pick-up truck on the sets of the gangster flick. The car cost the filmmaker a cool $43,000, and he says he chose it because he realised John’s collection of motorbikes and luxury cars was missing a pick-up truck. Dost ho toh aisa!

Krrish franchise to get new director hate!

Hrithik Roshan raised excitement levels when he revealed he and his dad were starting work on the next instalment of the Krrish franchise.

Now my khabru says this might be the first film in the series that isn’t helmed by Rakesh Roshan. While the Sr Roshan is in good health now, the family wants him to take it easy for a while longer after his recent battle against cancer. And as part of that plan, he’ll only produce Krrish 4. Sanjay Gupta is already in negotiations to direct the VFX-heavy superhero saga, so I’ll let you know if and when it’s a done deal.

John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi to unite for Sanjay Gupta’s gangster flick!

Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta has given Bollywood movies like Shootout at Wadala, Shootout at Lokhandwala, Kaabil and more. The director is known for making gangster films and now is planning to make one more.

For his next, Sanjay Gupta has brought together two of the most famous actors of Bollywood and they are none other than John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi. John Abraham was last seen in Sanjay’s movie Shootout at Wadala.

As per reports, Emraan and John will be seen in a gangster film which is set in the 1980s and 1990s when Bombay became Mumbai. The whole story will be set around the time which involves key events like the closing of mills, the murder of a key businessman, the nexus between politicians, cops, the underworld and the business fraternity. The filmmaker mentions that this movie is pretty close to his heart and hence, it has a special place. Sanjay revealed, “It’s my 3rd outing with John and I'm super excited to work with Emraan, I have always wanted to work with him and I am back to my base of filmmaking, gangster dramas and all I can say is...It's Good to be Home.”

Kaabil director’s dig at SRK?

Well, it is no top-secret that this year started with the clash of the geniuses as Shah Rukh Khan's Raees and Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil released on the same day. This affected both Raees and Kaabil's box office collections, but despite numerous efforts the clash couldn't be averted.

Rakesh Roshan, Kaabil's producer did not want to shift the release date. He was quoted telling that he cannot do anything if the movie is clashing with SRK's movie as he had pronounced the release date much prior. Despite much discussions and meeting between the two teams, the twosome failed to come to any conclusions.

In fact, Rakesh Roshan even alleged later that the exhibitor were giving a leverage to SRK's Raees by giving them more screens.

Well, now SRK's film is all set to clash with another superstar's movie. It is none other than Akshay Kumar starrer Toilet: Ek Prem Katha. Well, the Kaabil director Sanjay Gupta took this as an opportunity to post a sly tweet which seemed to be an indirect dig at SRK.

For the uninitiated, previously this week, it was pronounced that Akshay Kumar's movie which was previously slated to release in May has now been pushed to an August release. Imtiaz Ali's next starring SRK and Anushka is also scheduled to release around the same time.

Sanjay Gupta in his tweet posted, "KARMA, you beauty! I love and believe in you so much. I love how you go after all that f*** with you. KARTAM BHUKTAM on Independence Day.”

But, the director later deleted his tweet.

Hrithik Roshan shoots 'the most dramatic scene' for Sanjay Gupta’s Kaabil!

Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta, who is presently working on his forthcoming movie Kaabil with actor Hrithik Roshan, told that he shot the most dramatic scene of the movie and praised Hrithik for his wonderful act.

The Jazbaa director posted, “#KAABILDiary Day 27. We shot what is possibly the most dramatic scene in the script. It's amazing how Hrithik literally lives the scenes.” He added, “#KAABILDiary Day 28. Hrithik and Ronit face off. Good and evil face off. Also both together for the first time.”

Seemingly, the light-eyed hunk plays a blind man in the movie, who is out to exact vengeance on the antagonist, played by Ronit Roy.

The movie also stars Yami Gautam and is produced by Rakesh Roshan under his banner FilmKraft Productions. The film is slated to release on January 26 and will clash with Shah Rukh Khan's Raees.

Sanjay Gupta, who is presently busy directing Jazbaa, is quite thrilled about the news that Sony and Marvel Comics are coming together with a Spider-Man and Iron Man franchise and Gupta wishes our Bollywood filmmakers too could do something alike.

Taking to Twitter, Gupta posted, ''Sony & Marvel come together for joint Spiderman & Ironman franchise. Arbaaz & Rohit should come together for DABANGG & SINGHAM franchise. Can you imagine BAJIRAO SINGHAM and CHULBUL PANDEY brought together on a mission to track down the bad guy.''
