Krrish franchise to get new director hate!

Hrithik Roshan raised excitement levels when he revealed he and his dad were starting work on the next instalment of the Krrish franchise.

Now my khabru says this might be the first film in the series that isn’t helmed by Rakesh Roshan. While the Sr Roshan is in good health now, the family wants him to take it easy for a while longer after his recent battle against cancer. And as part of that plan, he’ll only produce Krrish 4. Sanjay Gupta is already in negotiations to direct the VFX-heavy superhero saga, so I’ll let you know if and when it’s a done deal.

Rohit Shetty and Farah Khan announced that they are teaming up for an official remake of the cult classic Satte Pe Satte that starred Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini in leading roles.

The film Satte Pe Satte that revolves around seven brothers, was speculated to have several names vying for the lead role. There were rumours that Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan were in talks for the remake.

As per reports, Farah and Rohit have locked the main female lead opposite Hrithik Roshan. A media source discloses, "Both Farah and Rohit wanted Deepika Padukone in the movie because not only do they love her but she fits the role to the T. When DP debuted, everyone felt she had an uncanny resemblance to Hema ji in terms of her beauty as well. When Farah narrated the story to DP, she loved it and instantly gave her nod."

Hrithik Roshan and Vikas Bahl have done justice to my story: mathematician Anand Kumar!

Bollywood megastar Hrithik Roshan, is currently ready for his next movie Super 30, in which he will be essaying the role of a mathematics teacher. The movie is based on the life of mathematician Anand Kumar, who began the Super 30 programme in Patna back in 2002. The educational programme selects 30 brilliant candidates each year from economically underprivileged sections of the society and coaches them for IIT entrance exams.

In a latest media chat, Anand Kumar spoke at length about working with Hrithik. He revealed, “The makers and Hrithik studied my character well. They made a video of 150 hours of me. It had clips of me teaching and the way I talk to my family members. Hrithik used that video as a case study to understand me. He also called me six-seven times to Mumbai to have discussions with me. One time, he was so engrossed in talking to me that he almost walked out of his house bare feet while escorting me out. One of his staff members came running to remind him that he had forgotten to wear his slippers.”

A lot of research and study went into making the movie and Hrithik along with Vikas worked very hard for the same. Talking about it, Anand revealed, “They have done justice to my story. Vikas ji used to go to villages to meet kids and would talk to people to give more depth to the script. He would go to remote areas where there would be no roads. You cannot travel in vehicles there, so he would walk to reach such places and talk to people. The film is the result of this hard work.”

Super 30 is scheduled to release on 12 July.

As we know, Hrithik Roshan is in media headlines due to Super 30 which is based on the life of the ace mathematician from Bihar, Anand Kumar who runs an institute of 30 underprivileged but brilliant students who have been deprived for right opportunities in life due to their social stature. Hrithik essays their teacher who manages to provide free education to young aspirants who want to get into IITs in India. The trailer surely was loved by everyone and Hrithik as Anand won hearts.

Recently, Hrithik shared a snap of Super 30’s batch. In a still shared by Hrithik, we can see him as Anand posing with kids of his batch and flaunting his million dollar smile. Along with him, the kids can also be seen smiling. The caption of the picture was penned by Hrithik in Hindi and it was highlighting the difference between Maths and life. The caption meant that there isn’t any difference between the two since both are full of problems. But, even with problems, one must not stop smiling.

Bollywood actress Karishma Sharma is presently essaying the role of Isha in the web series Hum - I am because of Us, along with Kushal Tandon. Karishma also essayed a key role in Kartik Aryan starrer Pyaar Ka Punchama 2.

As per reported in a daily, Karishma Sharma will be sharing screen space with Hrithik Roshan in the movie Super 30. Super 30 is a movie based on the life of mathematician Anand Kumar and it is being directed by Vikas Bahl.

Karishma and Hrithik will be seen in a dance number together for the movie. A media source revealed, "A set has been put up in Mumbai and the song will be shot over a week. Choreographer Vijay Ganguly has been brought on board. The team had been looking for a girl who looks sultry onscreen to match steps with Hrithik for a while now and zeroed in on Karishma over the weekend. They have begun working on the duo’s look for the special song."

Numerous media websites have reported that the ex-couple is considering getting married again for the sake of their children. News suggest that Hrithik and Sussanne want to start afresh.

A source slammed reports of Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan’s remarriage and rvealed to a daily, “A remarriage between Sussanne and Hrithik at the moment is more of wishful thinking. They are right now taking out time together whenever the need arises to be with their children and making sure that they get the best from their parents.”

The source further added, “Finally, both these people are strong independent thinkers and will take a call only when they are sure they want to be back together as a married couple. They have known each other for many years now and will not hesitate to communicate any such feeling to the other person. Till then, let us not jump the gun.”

Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan celebrated his birthday yesterday (January 10) and the social media was swamped with messages for the megastar.

One of the sweetest birthday messages was tweeted by his friend and neighbour Akshay Kumar. He posted, "Even though you're already blessed with the best...best family, friends, neighbors  This year wishing you better than the best! Happy birthday @iHrithik :)"

After months of muteness, Hrithik Roshan lastly opened up about the Kangana Ranaut controversy in a touchy interview with a channel. Since then, there has been no stopping the handsome star. Lately, in an interview with a leading portal, Hrithik disclosed that there wasn't any relationship between Kangana and him. The actor has clarified everything in a chronological order.

He revealed, ‘’There were times when my kids were travelling with Sussanne (his ex-wife) and [I] used to keep my alerts on at night only to receive such mails from her that used to mess up my mind in the middle of the night. I used to bang my phone down in anger.’’

In some of the emails, which Hrithik said he only read much later when he was submitting them to the police, she had detailed her day's plans, and sent photos of herself at pujas, unwinding at home, as well as some explicit images. All of these, Hrithik told, were unsolicited, and totalled to about 3,000 by the time he submitted them to police.

The two met on the sets of 2010 movie, Kites, and then worked together once more on 2013’s Krrish 3. It was around that time, Kangana alleges, that the two were romantically involved with each other. 

My divorce was NOT because of infidelity issues, reveals Hrithik Roshan!

Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan recently clarified his side of the story in the Kangana Ranaut controversy, during an interview with a famous channel. We know that Hrithik pronounced his separation from his wife of 17 years, Sussanne Roshan in 2014. The news had then taken Bollywood by storm. Lately, when he was questioned if the divorce was due to the Kangana factor, Hrithik totally repudiated it.

Hrithik revealed, "Absolutely not. Sussanne has been very very vocal about this. She has been very vocal. And I feel like laughing at people. When people get divorced, it is not always because of infidelity by the man. That is just such a small minded assumption. I am just trying to say that there are many reasons why people would like to live separate lives. Infidelity is just one of them. So the general assumption was, 'Ah he is the superstar, he must have done something wrong. She must have caught him..' That is not the case. We are great friends. It is between us. The reason that we decided to live separately may have been an inspiring reason, how do you know?”

Both Hrithik and Sussanne often holiday together with their sons Hrehaan and Hridhaan. They are also often spotted spending quality time together in the city. 

Hrithik Roshan opens about not doing more films!

Bollywood hunk Hrithik Roshan's admirers are waiting to see him on the big screen post the release of Kaabil. The megastar who does one or two movies in two years has been making his fans impatient as they are waiting for the pronouncement of his next.

Lately, during a communication with a famous tabloid, Hrithik was questioned if he would like to do more movies than his usual count. To which he specified, "Yes, of course. Anybody would. There’s no reason for me to purposely do fewer films. Why would I not want to do more films? That’s not the motive. But the motive is to find great scripts where I can do something special. I don’t want to take up everything that comes to me and then, not do proper justice to it."

There were rumors that Hrithik was approached for Vikas Bahl's Super 30 based on the life and times of famous Mathematician Anand Kumar, but nothing has been confirmed about it.

Previously, Salman Khan disclosed that box-office is suffering as there have been a few hits this year. Due to which the pressure on the megastars has increased. Agreeing to Salman, Hrithik told, "Yes, there’s a huge crunch at the box office and I totally agree with what Salman has said. I’m trying to do that, but I am not finding amazing films. But I’m totally open to doing at least two films every year."

He further told, "There’s a dearth of good stories. And we should hold ourselves responsible because we, as an industry, have not made writing aspirational. The writer is the one with whom everything starts and stops. Everything happens because of the script and everything depends on that man with the pen. Yet, we do not see their worth. We don’t pay them enough, we don’t hold them in high regard, we don’t respect them enough."

Bollywood hunk Hrithik Roshan is presently facing a lot of criticism for his silence over the whole Kangana-Hrithik controversy. While Kangana is all gun blazing, Hrithik's deafening silence has made everybody wonder on the creditability of the show.

At the product launch, when Hrithik was questioned on if he is sentimental about anything, he told, "No, I am not sentimental about things. I’m sentimental about people!"

There were numerous reports making the rounds about Hrithik Roshan working the filmmaker Vikas Bahl based on the life of famous mathematician Anand Kumar. He is the founder of the popular Super 30 program in Patna that grooms IIT aspirants. The report states that Hrithik Roshan will be seen as the Patna-based mathematician Anand Kumar in the movie which is tentatively titled Super 30.

Alleged exes Kangana Ranaut and Hrithik Roshan's battle was one of the talked-about events of 2016. From the former mentioning him as 'silly ex' to the latter slapping a legal notice, everything about their case was an open book for the rumormongers to talk about.

Kangana, in an interview with a famous reporter, told things haven't really died down as Hrithik has never really spoken about it. She told, "He runs away when he sees me. In fact, when we broke up in 2014 and after that one year when he was harassing me and stalking me, I complained to his father. I told him that his son is harassing me, stalking me, has hacked my account and he's not letting me get into any other relationship. So his father said I'm going to arrange a meeting for you. Since then, I'm hoping to get a meeting with him to have a two-word conversation with him and ask him that he's telling the world he doesn't know me."

"I can hold my head high and walk where I want to. Why is he hiding away and not talking about this issue? Where was his dignity when he sent me a notice? You should ask him what happened to that imposter?" she further added.

She also went on to reveal, "You work with somebody for seven years and work with them in two films, how is it that you don't know each other. You've been rolling on the floor and dancing in her birthday parties, why would you do that if I've some problems? Why would you cast me in your production again? These are the questions he should be answering."

"But I'm going to make sure that these things are out there and exposed so that the girls are not taken for a ride. If you care so much about your family life, children, and image, why don't you stop having affairs?" she added with affirmation.

Hrithik and Rakesh Roshan should apologise to me publicly, tells Kangana Ranaut!

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, who got involved in a legitimate battle with Hrithik Roshan last year, tells their fight is still not over as she deserves an apology from the actor and his father Rakesh Roshan.

Kangana opened up on the controversy once again on a TV show "Now Showing", read a statement by the channel.

The actress tells the senior Roshan had tried to fix a meeting between her and Hrithik, but that is yet to happen.

"I'm still waiting to meet him face-to-face and exchange two words on this and sort this out, but he's been running and hiding from me," Kangana told.

"He (Hrithik) and his father have made fools of themselves, they should apologise to me in public. Even if they don't, I will clarify to the world what happened to the case. The case has not died down. They couldn't prove anything," she further added.

Issues between the two began when Kangana hinted at Hrithik being her "ex-boyfriend" when she told in an interview that she fails to understand "why exes do silly things to get your attention". The actress lodged a legal complaint against Hrithik for "misusing" the confidential emails and photographs of the time when they were together.

Hrithik later filed a complaint with the cybercrime cell, claiming an imposter had been emailing Kangana from a bogus email ID, pretending to be him.

"For me it's important that he (Hrithik) claimed many things, but couldn't prove anything. You can't go about slapping notices on people. He had been preparing all this for two years. He used to send himself emails from my account because he had my password," Kangana told.

"I stayed quiet till now because I needed time to understand what all they (Roshan family) were doing... Of course it was all lies, but I didn't know what they would do next. I was scared. Look at what happened to the Malayalam actress because she went and complained to the actor's wife. They got her raped... Of course that was much after my case, but I was scared. So many things happen to women. The media would call me, or my sister and say, 'You are not safe... You guys should move to a safe place or go in hiding'.", said Kangana.

Without naming anybody, Kangana said she used to get calls from people from the industry who told her, "You should apologise, they are powerful people."

"He (Hrithik) and his father claimed they would expose me and shock the world, but they couldn't prove anything. He (Hrithik) slapped a notice saying she caused great harm to my reputation because she called me a 'silly ex'... I am the silly ex. But, he couldn't prove it. So, he changed his stance and said... She's right, she had an affair, but that wasn't me, it was an imposter. But, he couldn't prove that also," Kangana told.

I wasn't with my family the way Hrithik is with his kids, reveals Rakesh Roshan!

Filmmaker Rakesh Roshan has clocked 50 years in the industry recently and he is a happy man. From fruitfully beginning as an assistant director to then taking up acting and effortlessly slipping into the director and producer's hat, Roshan senior has done it all. "I started my career as an AD in 1968. I worked for 3-4 years and then debuted as an actor. It has been a great learning experience. I have always kept myself going by learning things. I learn from all my assistants, technicians, other films, actors and everyone," Rakesh Roshan reveals.

It has been five decades since the actor-turned-filmmaker has been a part of the industry. Quiz him what kind of a change has he witnessed and Rakesh Roshan confesses, "Every film which has got an emotional base has done well. There is nothing called an old film or a new film. Dangal isn't a new film. It is a film. Whichever film moves you emotionally, is a good film. When you go to see a film, you don't see the actor. But you see the director. You take Bahubali, you can see the director and his passion. It is his vision. See Lagaan, Dangal, Jodha Akbar, Avatar etc. It is the director behind it."

Ask him what did he enjoy the most - being an actor, producer or a director and Roshan describes, "I have enjoyed all the roles. Every role has got different qualities. In front of the camera, one may feel it is easy, but it is not. As a director, you have to be behind the camera. You have to think with the actor's point of view. It is a very interesting job. Then there is a producer's job. You have to make a budget and make sure the film is made in that budget. Luckily, I am a director-producer myself, so I know the budgeting of the film. As a director, I know the vision so I can accordingly shoot. If there is a sequence in Krrish that I feel will go out of budget, then I will cancel it and then shoot it in a way so that it is more affordable."

But while building his illustrious career, Rakesh Roshan assuredly made lot of sacrifices. Probe him on it and he agrees and further reveals, "Whatever time I got, I spent it with my family. But yes, when I was an actor, I didn't have so much time. Even I was growing at that time. I was 22 when my daughter was born and at 24, I was blessed with a son. I was also making my career. I gave the time that I got. But of course I wasn't with them so much the way Hrithik is with his kids. I like spending time with my family and friends. From the industry I just have two friends - Jeetendra and Rishi Kapoor. The other friends are not from the industry. So when we meet, we talk more about other things and less about films. That is the way to get away from work."

Through the course of his journey, is there anything that the veteran filmmaker learnt and pat comes the answer, "One thing that I learnt is that a director makes the movie. And even if the actor is amazing, he cannot rise above the director. It is not an easy job. It is not like making a cup of tea. You have to be responsible and honest. You have to do a good job. When I shoot something, I go home and think about it. If I am not satisfied, I will reshoot that particular scene. But not for petty changes. Shortcomings are there in everything. Only if it is a major thing, I reshoot it."

Given that Roshan Senior has made some of the most loved movies of Bollywood like - Karan Arjun, Koyla, King Uncle, Khudgarz, Khoon Bhari Maang amongst many others, one wonders if he would ever want to remake his films. Shoot this question to him and he tells, "Many people tell me to remake my own films. But I say I cannot do it. Because once the thing has come out from your heart, you cannot artificially make it again. I have chosen to do a film on a particular subject because it gave me sleepless nights. Most of my films have hit the bulls eye and I have been fortunate. People asked me to remake Karan Arjun. But I cannot make it. Those heartfelt scenes won't come out now. It would be like copying. I can't make it. If somebody else comes with a good script then it is fine. I am willing for that."

Next up his sleeve is Krrish 4. Ask him about it and Rakesh Roshan tells, "Krrish 4, I am scripting it. I am stuck on something and once it gets solved, the news will come."

"Hrithik as Krrish will be there and his family will carry on. I am the only producer-director who has got one story being continued in the films. It is difficult. New characters will come in but the story will be linked," he ended conversation.

Hrithik didn't want another remake after 'Knight and Day', says director Siddharth Anand!

Evergreen star Hrithik Roshan would have been "great" to play the title role in the Indian remake of Hollywood movie "Rambo" but the actor was not keen to do another remake after "Bang Bang!", the official adaptation of "Knight and Day", tells director Siddharth Anand.

Siddharth had directed Hrithik in "Bang Bang!" and they share a good friendship. For the "Rambo" remake, the director roped in Tiger Shroff and feels he is the "apt choice".

"Hrithik and I have an equation or a relationship which is of great trust and respect, and the fact is that we are constantly talking about doing something together. We almost did 'Fighter' together, which eventually didn't happen last year. Also Hrithik would be really a great choice for a character like Rambo but he didn't want to do another remake after 'Knight and Day'. So we're working on something else," Siddharth said.

Siddharth has worked on two movies each with Saif Ali Khan and Ranbir Kapoor back to back. His debut directorial "Salaam Namaste" and the following movie "Ta Ra Rum Pum" was with Saif, while his subsequent projects "Bachna Ae Haseeno" and "Anjaana Anjaani" were with Ranbir.

So, one was hoping he would keep the pattern going with Hrithik after "Bang Bang!".

Siddharth told, "Hopefully, we will have something to do together very soon. 'Rambo' is not that. I chat with Hrithik on everything I do. He's one of the first people to know whenever I do something. He's more like an elder brother to me."

He spoke about casting an actor for the desi "Rambo".

"After we completed the script, we deliberated a lot on the casting. It could draw a lot of polarised opinion on the casting because you take Sylvester Stallone and say this guy is going to portray a character immortalised by Stallone. It's too big a shoe to fill in, too big a responsibility.

"And so we had to get somebody who would be the apt choice. I was certain I wanted a young boy for it. Tiger felt just a natural choice for us. Fortunately, he loved it and came on board," Siddharth told.

The viewers can look forward to some high-octane action from the film, which is likely to go on floors in February 2018.

Hrithik Roshan to launch the trailer of Marathi film Hrudayantar!

Hrithik Roshan is snapped here at the trailer launch of the Marathi film Hrudayantar. Famous designer Vikram Phadnis's maiden directorial venture Hrudayantar will release on June 9.

Hrithik, who will be seen in a cameo in the movie, cheered the team at the trailer launch and wished them all the best. The movie will feature actors Mukta Barve and Subodh Bhave in the lead.

Maniesh Paul is also set to make his debut in this one. He told, "Vikram narrated the script of Hrudayantar which I found very interesting. He asked me if I'm interested to play a guest appearance in it and I immediately agreed. Vikram (Phadnis) is supremely talented and I'm happy to be part of his debut Marathi film. It was an interesting experience to shoot with kids."

Shah Rukh Khan had inaugurated the mahurat clap of  Hrudayantar, when the shooting kick-started. "I wish the whole team good luck and I wish they make a beautiful film. Every film is like a first child. We all know Vikram is very hard-working and very sorted. We wish good luck to him and his team," Shah Rukh had said.

Previously, Vikram was to make his directorial debut with Hindi film Nia starring Bipasha Basu and Rana Daggubati, but it didn't take off.

Hrithik Roshan will celebrate Raees and Kaabil success to pop champagne with Shahrukh!

As the day of the big box office clash nears, the movie goers and film industry experts are thrilled to see how Kaabil and Raees will perform at the box office. And while Hrithik has taken it all in good faith as his previous statements have reflected, the 42-year-old also wishes well for both the flicks.

As per communication with the media lately the Mohenjo Daro star told, “Hopefully both films will do well, but on the whole, it will be a loss of about Rs 100 crores for the industry as compared to both the films releasing individually. My father understands that and he is sad about that, and he thinks that it could have been managed in a better way, but we completely understand Raees was in the waiting for too long.”

He further added, “My wish is that when both the films do well, Shah Rukh, I, dad, Farhan and everyone will pop champagne and celebrate for each other.”

Directed by Sanjay Gupta, Kaabil also stars Yami Gautam and will hit the silver screen on January 25.
