Bollywood’s loss as legend action master Veeru Devgan passed away!

Bollywood is in mourning after Veeru Devgan passed away.

While many of you will only know him as Ajay Devgn’s dad, Veeru was actually one of our industry’s most famous stunt and action choreographers, and had worked on more than 80 films including Mr. India, Jigar and Phool Aur Kaante. Insiders tell me he’d been in poor health for a while now, but that hasn’t left his near and dear ones any less devastated at his death. We at B4U extend our heartfelt condolences to Ajay, Kajol and the rest of Veeru’s family.

As per reports, the movie is based on true events which took place during the 1971 India-Pakistan War. This is not all, due to constant bombings, the town's citizens, as well as the entire manual workforce, left Bhuj. But about 200 women from the affluent village of Madhapar helped the Indian Air Force.

We can even abuse each other, says Ajay Devgn on friend Tabu!

Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn is presently busy promoting his forthcoming film, Raid. Helmed by Raj Kumar Gupta, the film also stars Ileana D’Cruz in the lead role. In the movie, Ajay essays the role of a deputy commissioner of Income Tax, while Ileana plays his wife, Malini.

But, Ajay is unwilling to disclose the name of the officer who inspired his character, Amay Patnaik. He revealed to a tabloid, ‘’I’m not sure if he’d want that. The day he is comfortable with it, I’ll tell you his name.’’

‘’I didn’t really spend a lot of time with him but I heard a few more stories of IT raids from him and other officers. Some were funny and some scary, I marvelled at how casually he narrated the incident though I don’t think he’d have been as nonchalant then,” he further added.

After the release of the intense crime drama, Ajay will start preparation for Luv Ranjan’s romcom, which reunites him with friend Tabu and also features Rakul Preet Singh.

“We’ve finished the first schedule. It’s an urban comedy with an interesting concept. I’ve been busy with Raid promotions so I haven’t had the time to watch Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety but I have known Luv for a while now. He is a fabulous writer and director whom I trust. I loved the script,” Ajay told.

He is looking forward to work with Tabu with whom he shares a very special relationship. The two were last seen in Golmaal again (2017), which was super-hit at the box-office. “We’ve known each other from before we entered the industry and would hang out with the same group of friends. We can even abuse each other without it coming in the way of our friendship. I keep telling her to get married,” he said.

I will neither be able to stop her nor will she listen to me, says Ajay Devgn on Nysa to join Bollywood!

Actor Ajay Devgn is a loving father to his children Nysa and Yug. He is often snapped with them by the paparazzi when spotted in the city. A lot has been talked about shutterbugs chasing star kids which turn out to be uncomfortable for them.

Lately, when Ajay was questioned about the same, he specified to a famous tabloid, "I think somewhere we all like to request that there be some distance maintained. I’m not saying this should not be spoken about at all, but somewhere the media scares them. So, it’s a request that if they can go easy on them, it would be nicer. They are kids, after all."

He had previously told to a daily, "I really request that [our] kids should be left alone. A lot of times, when they go out, they feel the pressure [of paparazzi]. They are just 13, 14 or 15 years old, and don’t understand a lot of things. Though I must say they are too smart to gauge all of it and do understand a lot of things, somewhere I feel a line must be drawn. They must be left alone since they are kids."

Previously, Kajol was questioned if she and Ajay will be fine with Nysa joining the film industry, to which she told, "Ajay is a very understanding and accepting father. We won’t force our kids to take the profession we are in, but if they want it themselves, we will support them."

Now, when Ajay was questioned if he will be comfortable if his daughter will be joining Bollywood, he responded, "That will be her choice. I just dropped her to Singapore three days ago, where she’s now studying. She wants to study, so it will always be her choice. I will neither be able to stop her nor will she listen to me. Whatever she wants to do, I will just support her. As of now, we miss her terribly."

Now, as per a famous tabloid, Ajay is all set to star in a movie titled Raid. He will be seen essaying the role of an Income Tax Officer based in Uttar Pradesh. The movie will be set in the 1980s and directed by Raj Kumar Gupta of No One Killed Jessica fame.

I have worked with Salman, Aamir and other heroes, there were no ego problems then, reveals Ajay Devgn!

Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn is one actor who enjoys a massive fan following. The actor, who is presently shooting for Golmaal 4, feels that the loyalty that the senior actors enjoys is something that the newer generation doesn't because audience has changed over the years.

In an interview with an agency, Ajay told, "The newer generation of audiences are not loyal to anybody. We have been lucky that a segment of the public has been loyal to us for the past 25 years. So we have that plus point. But otherwise, they will only go and watch the film that they feel they'll understand,"

He also expressed that with the advent of social media, the mystery around a star's life has died. "I feel that the aura of the star is dying. I liked the mystery that came with being a star, I still do. But today, there is so much exposure. Say, if one is not active on the social media, they may start feeling insecure seeing others doing it. They may feel the pressure."

Devgn confessed that, when he started off as an actor, he never had any ego clashes with his contemporaries. But now the scenario has changed. Admits Ajay, "I have worked with Salman, Aamir and other heroes. All of us used to work together and there were no ego problems. Nobody was insecure about what the other person was doing. Earlier, we used to have 'Golmaal'-like fun atmosphere on the sets of almost every film. Today, you can't expect to have that. Maybe the newer generation has that problem."

He adds later, "But their never-to-please attitude is a good thing. It keeps you on your toes. You will have to make good films. You will have to improve the quality. Anyway, all the films cannot work at the same time. Only 30 films do well out of the 100 average ones that are made."

Ajay Devgn also feels that Bollywood needs to pull up its socks as Hollywood cinema is being preferred over Hindi movies these days by the viewers. "It's sad today that Hollywood films are doing way better than our own films. Due to Netflix and all, you get to see a lot in the comfort of your home. It's important to have that cinema experience. If you won't bring that to the audience, they'd prefer watching films at home.", Ajay ends conversation.

I actually don’t think there’s any problem if you rationalise with them, reveals Ajay Devgn on CBFC!

While numerous celebs came forward to call out the CBFC for their regressive thoughts, Ajay Devgn begs to differ. The actor feels that there is no problem with the board that needs to be addressed.

Ajay, who was present for the Baadshaho trailer yesterday, while addressing the issue told, “I really don’t know… The films that I produced and submitted to the censor board, I didn’t face any issue. I don’t think what’s the problem. I actually don’t think there’s any problem. I feel if you rationalize with them (CBFC) everything can be understood. At least that’s my experience.”

Lately, it was Aamir Khan who had spoken about this and has reiterated that the board, in any case, should not censor but verify. "As far as my knowledge goes, the CBFC, in any case, isn't supposed to censor, it is supposed to grade the film and certify ki kiss age group ko hum ye dikha sakte hain. So, I guess that's how we should proceed. That's what also Mr. Shyam Benegal's recommendations are if I am not mistaken. So hopefully things will get better soon," Aamir told.

The actor even explained the reports of them self-censoring intimate scenes to avoid hassles with the CBFC. When Milan was questioned on the same, he told, "I don't think anybody decides how we edit the film. This is a straightforward film and is not likely to get into any trouble." At this point, Ajay interrupted saying,"I don't know from where this story came, we have definitely not made a porn film."

Ajay was also questioned about his onscreen kiss with Ileana, to which the actor told, "It is not shown in a kiss-kiss way, it is mostly an expression."

The film releases on September 1, 2017.
