Raees wins the race from Kaabil in advance booking numbers!

Shah Rukh Khan starrer Raees is all set to take on Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil at the box office. But, it seems that Raees is already on a lead, going by the advance booking numbers.

The SRK-Mahira Khan starrer has garnered around Rs 12.50 crore nett in advance booking sales while Kaabil is struggling with a Rs 3 crore nett. Trade experts mention that the numbers of Kaabil are even lower than that of a Dishoom. Seemingly, Kaabil did open a little late for advance bookings. But, as per analysts a superstar like Hrithik Roshan should have ideally drawn in more numbers.

The advance bookings for Dangal, Sultan and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo were 16.5 cr, 21 cr, and 15 cr correspondingly. But, these were Christmas, Eid and Diwali releases.  A good run for Raees and a risky run for Kaabil can apparently thus be predicted given that a good opening was Kaabil's best bet.

In the meanwhile, let us wait and watch for the box office openings.

Hrithik Roshan mimics Big B with authenticity!

Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan is essaying a visually impaired dubbing artist in his forthcoming movie Kaabil and in the newest promo of the movie, he is seen mimicking megastar Amitabh Bachchan.

One can see Hrithik fooling his on-screen wife Yami Gautam by posing as Big B, over the phone, who seems thrilled to be talking to the superstar. She is even heard asking if Aamir Khan visits his studio.

Hrithik has perfected Bachchan Senior's baritone and it sounds so authentic that one really feels that it's the latter on the phone. Kudos to Hrithik for pulling this off so well!

Hrithik Roshan’s revenge hints in second trailer of 'Kaabil’!

Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan will be next seen essaying a visually impaired man in Sanjay Gupta’s vengeance drama Kaabil and the second trailer of the movie was uncovered today.

The second trailer offers additional facts about the lives of Rohan Bhatnagar (Hrithik), a dubbing artiste and his ladylove Su (played by Yami Gautam) and how Rohan plans his revenge when his whole world comes crashing down following a crime and the law proves to be useless.

Hrithik is remarkable with his strength, though he looks too boyish with his clean-shaven looks. However, we are keenly waiting for this movie as Sanjay Gupta has veered away from his usual filmmaking style for this project and we are curious to see how Gupta has treated this tale.

Apart from Hrithik and Yami, Kaabil also stars brothers Ronit Roy and Rohit Roy, who essay the antagonists.

TV Industry has hit a rock bottom, needs a huge transition, reveals Ronit Roy!

TV and Film actor Ronit Roy became a domestic name after essaying Mr. Rishabh Bajaj on the 2001 show Kasautii Zindagii Kay and since then, there has been no looking back for the actor. Over the decade Ronit has been the part of shows like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Adaalat, and Bandini.

Ronit considers it was a golden era of Indian TV industry as more people used to enjoy daily soaps then. "People have tried to do new programming on TV but it has not worked. Maybe, the time was not right or maybe, it was not done correctly or the audience didn't understand the concept or they simply rejected it because they wanted the old stuff," revealed the actor to a close source.

"Television has hit a rock bottom. Because neither the new work is being appreciated nor the old. Across the board, TRPs are dropping, which is indicating that now it is time for something new," told Ronit.

But Ronit Roy is positive that soon there will be a huge transition on the small screen, which will bring the much-needed changes on TV. "There will be a pioneer, who will come with something new and that will work for sure and the rest will follow. It's just a waiting game now for that person to come, who is going to show us the path to follow to walk on. And that time is almost there. I can guarantee that this next boom of television is going to be better than cinema," Ronit pitched in eagerly.

Ronit Roy will next be seen in Kaabil as an antagonist opposite Hrithik Roshan.

I am not affected by SRK's marketing skills for Raees, specifies Rakesh Roshan on Kaabil’s promotion plans!

When the promo of Kaabil was released, it generated a lot of enthusiasm for Hrithik Roshan admirers. Presently, the father-son duo Rakesh Roshan and Hrithik are gearing up for the release of the movie & have chalked out their promotion tactics which will be beginning soon.

Additionally, 2017 is going to start with a big fight between Kaabil and Shah Rukh Khan's Raees. Rakesh indicated that he is not affected by SRK's marketing skills, which is hyped to be one of the best in the industry. He told to a famous tabloid, "Earlier too there would be multiple releases. During our days, if one film was houseful, the crowd would rush to another theatre, where tickets were available."

Speaking about their publicity strategies for Kaabil, Roshan Sr specified, "We will continue with whatever we have been doing earlier. Hum na zyada promotions karne waale hain, na kam (We won’t promote too much or too little). Promotional activities alone don’t make much of a difference. We had already decided and arranged everything in accordance with our release. We have enough theatres to exhibit our movie. We only need to work honestly and in a justified manner."

He gave the example of Aamir Khan's forthcoming movie, Dangal, he told, "After watching the trailer, the storyline needs to unfold, so that audiences come in with their minds prepared. Look at Dangal’s trailer, it clearly states what the content is and what the storyline wants to reveal. Viewers should know everything from the trailer itself."

Yami Gautam’s only 30 minutes’ role for Hrithik starrer Kaabil?

Bollywood stars Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam have wrapped up the shoot for their forthcoming movie Kaabil much before the schedule. The teaser of the movie was unveiled and it has created huge amount of interest among the admirers. The teaser saw no faces, just Hrithik Roshan delivering the dialogues.

But, as per close source, Yami who essay the lead opposite Hrithik in the thriller will have a very short role. A source told, "Yami has a relatively smaller role in the movie. She would be there mostly in the first half. She essays Hrithik's love interest and wife in the movie. It's her murder which brings about a twist in the movie. How Hrithik takes vengeance her death is what the second half of the movie is about. So Yami has only about 30 minutes of screen time in the movie, a little more than what she had in Badlapur."

Unintentionally, in Badlapur Yami essayed Varun Dhawan's wife who gets killed and how he later takes revenge on her killer. In Kaabil, Hrithik loses his vision in the accident and its story of a blind man avenging his wife's murder.

Kaabil will release on January 26, 2016.

It's a wrap up time for Hrithik-Yami starrer 'Kaabil' in just 77 days!

The shooting of the Hrithik Roshan starrer Kaabil has been finished in just 77 days, 11 days ahead of schedule. This is a rarity in Bollywood where often the projects get delayed way beyond the planned schedule.

Seemingly, the film's producer Rakesh Roshan conveyed that he did not tell director Sanjay Gupta to rush the shooting though Roshan Sr. did insist that everyone should be on the sets on time so they could concentrate and work becomes easier. It seems that for the movie, Hrithik and the remaining cast used to reach the sets an hour before shooting and would be ready for the first shot by 9:30 am. In this manner, the crew managed to reduce the number of days of the shoot and everything happened on time. The trailer of the movie is likely to be out next week.

The movie is the tale of Rohan Bhatnagar (played by Hrithik), a blind man living in the city of Mumbai trying to make a living as a mimicry artist. It is hyped to be a thriller.

Kaabil stars Hrithik Roshan along with Yami Gautam and is expected to hit the theaters on 26th January, 2017. The movie will face competition from Shah Rukh Khan's Raees which is scheduled to release on the same day.
