Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra will be co-producing an
American TV series on ABC channel and the buzz was that joining her will be
none other than Madhuri Dixit-Nene who would be co-producing the show along
with Priyanka, Mark R. Gordon and Nick Pepper.
Recently, during the presscon of her Marathi movie Kay Re
Rascala, Priyanka was questioned about this ambitious venture. Without disclosing
much, Priyanka told, "As I said that we have been working on many projects
which includes English too, but nothing has been finalized yet. I will tell you
all as soon as I work on something."
The TV show will seemingly be a sitcom which is yet to be
titled and is being written by Sri Rao. The story chronicles around a Bollywood
megastar who settles down in the suburbs with her bi-cultural family. She
brings her Technicolor point of view to the otherwise mundane town.
Priyanka is presently busy with her Hollywood projects
Quantico and Isn't it Romantic? She has also been working on A Kid Like Jake, which
features Jim Parsons, Claire Danes and Octavia Spencer.
