John Abraham opens up about formula films!

Bollywood’s action hero John Abraham is one of those stars in the industry, who do a movie only if the story thrills them, and are not afraid of failures or criticisms. He has not only told that he likes to experiment with his movies but has time and again, proved it as well. After his latest movie, Parmanu worked extremely well at the box office, John spoke about his personal life, his movie choices, future ventures, etc., in a media a chat with a daily.

When quizzed about his unconventional movie choices, and what does he think when he begins a new movie, John revealed, "I cannot make formula films. What I do is when I choose a subject, I say ‘Hey, it’s difficult, how am I going to pull it off?’ Then I smile and decide ‘Then I’m going to do it!’ (laughs) — because it’s very clear that if it’s difficult and practically impossible to pull off, then I’ll do it, because I like non-formula. I have no fear of failure. At the most, what... I’ll fail, right? But people will say, ‘He attempted what normally people won’t attempt.’ I will keep doing that, till the industry permits me."

John revealed that his preferred genre is comedy, but as a producer, he is not well-equipped to bring about comedy movies like Welcome Back or Housefull 2. He said that it is important to do all kinds of movies as an actor.

Parmanu’s new poster with fierce look of John and Diana Penty!

Bollywood’s new Jodi John Abraham and Diana Penty will be paired opposite each other for the first time in Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran. The movie is based on the nuclear test conducted at Pokhran in 1998.

Two new posters for Pokhran were shared on Twitter by both John and Diana.

In one poster, you can see John staring intently at something with the background of sand all around him. 

Her caption reads as "There is no stopping Ambalika. #Parmanu @ParmanuTheMovie @kriarj."

John Abraham is leaving no stone in shaping up his upcoming production Parmanu - The Story of Pokhran, where he is also the leading hero.

He has been sharing several stills from the film, which have left the fans excited. Today, the handsome hunk has shared the new poster of the film and it's intriguing.

In the poster, John is seen running in a deserted area with army vans in the background.

John tweeted the poster saying, "Embark on an extraordinary journey this December with @ParmanuTheMovie #ParmanuTheStoryOfPokhran @johnabrahament @kriarj"

Parmanu - The Story Of Pokhran is being helmed by Abhishek Sharma and is slated to release on December 8, 2017. John will even be producing the film under his home productions JA Entertainment together with Zee Studios, KriArj Entertainment, and Kyta Productions.

John will be paired opposite Diana Penty in the film. Talking about the film, John had earlier stated to a leading tabloid, "I have never been in a hurry to produce films and have been searching for subjects that are engaging... stories that resonate with the current socio-political and economic mood of the country. This film fits in perfectly with my pursuit, and I am also happy to start my association withPrernaa and Arjun."

Whereas the director of the film, Abhishek said, "I'm glad to collaborate with John. His involvement as an actor and producer adds great value and credibility to my vision."

John will be collaborating with KriArj Entertainment for the project. Neerja fame Saiwyn Quadros and Sanyuktha Chawla Shaikh have co-written the script for the movie.

The film will be based on the nuclear test conducted at Pokhran in 1998 and is being helmed by Abhishek Sharma. Parmanu is scheduled to release on December 8, 2017.

Recently, the makers revealed the first look of the movie and it definitely looks interesting! In the poster, the map of the Pokhran test area is shown with John's face hiding as a camouflage.
