The highly anticipated first look, unveiled on June 27, 2025, has already taken the internet by storm, promising an intense and raw cinematic experience that will undoubtedly leave viewers stunned.

Rashmika Mandanna, known for her charming smile and versatile performances, has been on a remarkable journey of late, diversifying her roles and proving her mettle across various film industries. While Chhaava saw her in a significant historical drama, Mysaa signals an even bolder step into a gritty, action-oriented role that showcases a completely different side of her acting prowess.

The First Look: Hunted, Wounded, Unbroken

The initial pre-look poster for Mysaa teased audiences with the intriguing tagline, "Hunted. Wounded. Unbroken," hinting at a saga of resilience and raw power. The full first look, which dropped on Friday, June 27, 2025, confirmed these suspicions and exceeded expectations.

In the striking poster, Rashmika appears almost unrecognizable, smeared with blood and wielding a formidable, sword-like weapon. Her unkempt hair, intense gaze, and aggressive expression convey a warrior spirit ready for battle. She is reportedly portraying a Gond tribal woman, hinting at a story deeply rooted in indigenous culture and struggle. This transformative look has been lauded by fans and critics alike, marking a significant departure from her previous roles.

A New World for Rashmika: "Fierce, Intense, and Extremely Raw"

Rashmika herself expressed her excitement and nervousness about Mysaa, sharing an emotional note on social media. "I always try to give you something new… something different… something exciting," she wrote. "And this… This is one of those… A character I’ve never played before… a world I’ve never stepped into… and a version of me that even I hadn’t met till now. It’s fierce, it’s intense, and it’s extremely raw." Her candid words reflect the challenging nature of the role and the dedication she has poured into bringing this powerful character to life.

The Team Behind Mysaa

Mysaa is directed by Rawindra Pulle, who previously made his debut with the Telugu social drama Ardha Shathabdam (2021). The film is being produced by Ajay and Anil Sayyapureddy under their Hyderabad-based banner, Unformula Films. The makers have described Mysaa as a true pan-India project, set for a grand release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam, further solidifying Rashmika's growing pan-Indian appeal. It is also Rashmika's first solo-led pan-India venture, marking a significant milestone in her career.

The project reportedly took two years of meticulous pre-production, indicating the scale and ambition of the film. While further details about the plot remain under wraps, the first look alone guarantees an emotional action thriller that will push Rashmika Mandanna's boundaries as an actor.

Rashmika's Rising Stardom and Upcoming Slate

Rashmika Mandanna's career has been on an upward trajectory, cementing her position as one of the most sought-after actresses in Indian cinema. Following the massive success of the Pushpa franchise and Animal, and her recent performance in Chhaava (released February 14, 2025, becoming a blockbuster), Mysaa adds another exciting dimension to her diverse filmography. She also has a promising lineup of projects, including Pushpa 3, The Girlfriend (directed by Rahul Ravindran), and Rainbow (directed by Shantharuban), showcasing her commitment to exploring varied genres and powerful narratives.
