Recently, in a media chat, Esha revealed on choosing characters with grey shades. While speaking to the news portal, the actress told that it is easy to play the damsel in distress However, it is tougher to play grey shades or strong ones. Esha further revealed, "I think it's not because of any other reason, but the entire perception of what being a woman is like. I'm not saying this with respect to society, the entire world feels that a woman needs help. There’s a perception that a woman can’t reach anywhere status wise. She is considered physically weak because human society has taught us to think that way. If you look at the animal kingdom, things are different. It's the lioness, who actually goes out, preys and attacks to get the food. The lion doesn't do anything."

 On the film front, Esha's movie Baadshaho which is directed by Milan Luthria and also stars Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, Ileana D'Cruz, Vidyut Jammwal and Sanjay Mishra is performing well at the box-office. Baadshaho has raked in INR 23.60 crore in its first two days.

I am still treated like an outsider to quite an extent by the so-called ‘industry people’, reveals Esha Gupta!

Actress Esha Gupta has been in limelight for quite some time now for her photos that she has been putting on her Instagram account. Being an outsider, it isn't easy to make a mark in the industry and Esha feels that she is still being treated like one.

Speaking to a famous agency, Esha told, “I am proud of the work I’ve done, it was tough (journey), but I have carved the way on my own. There are times, I wish even if four of my films flop, there is someone producing films for me and making films only with me. You think ‘I wish I didn’t have this surname but that surname (referring to being a star kid)."

“I think I am still an outsider. I am still treated like one to quite an extent by the so-called ‘industry people’. It’s their body language that lets you know. I can’t blame them because even I haven’t made an effort to be a part of them. I don’t want to,” told Esha.

“People say I need to go out more to get more work. I don’t know how it works. I don’t go out, I just can’t. I can’t try to mince words, be sweet and rally behind you for work. If you don’t like me, don’t give me work. If you don’t like me and still give me work, you’ll only try to pull me down. If I am after your life to get a film, you’re still going to give work to somebody else and badmouth about me behind my back,” further added the actor.

Speaking about Baadshaho, Esha told, “This is not the kind of film where I need to jostle for space. I am not worried at all. I am not one of those who says, ‘My role is important’, I am quite secure as to why I am there."

When questioned why female actors are not seen doing more grey roles, Esha tells, "They are all so insecure, no one wants to do that role."

Esha Gupta suggests all men to save her hot snaps on their phone!

Esha Gupta was lately in the headlines for sharing topless and hot snaps on her Instagram page. Numerous started trolling and demeaning the actress and Esha is not astonished about the reaction as she spoke honestly with a famous tabloid.  

She told, “In our country, women are eternally blamed. They are accused when a girl child is born, they are even accused even when they raped. So, somewhere I knew that I will also have to face a lot of heat. After all, it's easiest for some faceless and redundant people to pull a celebrity down at the first opportunity. I've done shoots like this one when I was a model. I've gone topless and naked, too. No one ever asked me about that. And who are these people who have `issues' with my pictures? It's my body and it's been shot aesthetically.”

The actress further added, "There's a thin line, which if you cross, you look vulgar. No one can say my pictures are vulgar. I got more love than hate, but it's better to be hated than to be forgotten. And right now, I'm in my best shape. Although we knew where this could lead, we thought, `If not now, then when?"

Talking about men's attitudes as well as being comfortable in her own body, Esha continued, "Men tend to have a problem if a woman goes bold. Their manhood is challenged. They are prudes; they must have even saved these pictures on their phone. And here we are in the country of Ajanta and Ellora, and Kamasutra, objecting to a woman's photoshoot which she has done on her own will. So, my attitude is, `S***w them', and that's the point I wanted to make. The pictures turned out so beautiful that I didn't want to hold them back. The thing is that I've been comfortable and confident about my body all along."

Did someone from the industry comment on her bold pictures? To this, Esha disclosed, "Yes. Some of them did. Like Milan Luthria told me, `You're killing it with these photos. I'll be there for you if need arises.' I'm relieved and happy."

Esha will next be seen in Baadshaho which also stars Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, Ileana D'Cruz and Vidyut Jammwal. Baadshaho is slated to release on September 1, 2017.

Baadshaho’s star cast release their trailer in style!

Baadshaho’s stars including Ajay Devgn, Ileana D'Cruz, Emraan Hashmi, Vidyut Jammwal, Sharad Kelkar, Esha Gupta and Sanjay Mishra released their much anticipated trailer in the city today. The movie is a thriller set in the emergency era of the 1970s and is set to release on September 1.

The trailer showed us some gun blazing action and some insane background music. We also saw the female leads Ileana and Esha pull off some great action sequences. The onscreen chemistry between Ajay and Ileana is indeed hot, to say the least.

Ajay spoke about the movie telling, "I think fans are the one who makes you a star so their opinion should be considered. They really love you and they know what they want from you, so I think their opinion should matter.”

When questioned about his other movie Golmaal 4, Ajay said he did not think that the release of two movies in a short span of time would affect their business. "No, both the films are in different genres so the audience will get a chance to watch two different films. I am not worried about that," he revealed.

While Ileana looked hot and elegant in a black number Esha rocked her bright orange look.

I really want to see Akshay singing, laughing and crying for me, says Esha Gupta!

Raaz 3 actress Esha Gupta wants to do a romantic movie with actor Akshay Kumar. She tells once she gets to do that with her "Rustom" co-star, she would be pleased with her career in the film industry.

"I really want to do a romantic film with Akshay Kumar wherein I am wearing a saree, Akshay singing romantic song for me and we are dancing around the trees. My life will be successful and I would be satisfied with my Bollywood career the day this happens to me," Esha told on TV show "Diwali Beats". 

The "Raaz 3" actress shared that she has been a passionate fan of Akshay, even before she joined Bollywood. 

"Be it his action or romance. He has an aura and that 'Punjabiness'," she further added. 

Speaking about starring with him in "Rustom", Esha told: "The day I got to know I am going to be co-starring with Akshay Kumar, I got so excited, but on knowing that I won't be his love interest, I won't deny, I was really disappointed".

"I take it as an honour. I really want to see Akshay singing, laughing and crying for me," she added. 

Ileana D'Cruz and Esha Gupta are female lead for Akshay Kumar in Rustom!

We have informed previously that Akshay Kumar and Neeraj Pandey will team up once again for Rustom and though at the time, there were no confirmations about the female lead, we have got to know that Akshay will be seen sharing screen space with not one but two Bollywood beauties.

We have learned that actresses Ileana D'Cruz and Esha Gupta have been signed up to star in the movie and that Esha will be seen playing a grey character in the film. Apart from these two actresses, the movie will also star actors Sharad Kelkar, Sachin Khedekar, Pavan Malhotra, Kumud Mishra, Kanwaljit Singh and Brijendra Kala among others. Rustom is seemingly a romantic thriller and set in the late 50s.

Akshay was last seen playing NRI businessman Ranjit Katyal in Raja Krishna Menon's Airlift.
