Ajay Devgn to depict Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik in his next flick Bhuj: The Pride of India!


After Total Dhamaal’s success, Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn is all set to feature in a film which is based on true events which took place during the 1971 Indo-Pak War. In the movie which is titled as Bhuj: The Pride of India, Ajay will be essaying the role of Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik who was in charge of the Bhuj airport during the 1971 Indo-Pak War. The same is one of India’s most fascinating war-related stories because at time, it was Karnik and his team, with the help of the local women, reconstructed the destroyed Indian Air Force airstrip at Bhuj in Gujarat. It was termed as India’s ‘Pearl Harbour’ moment.

Film Bhuj: The Pride of India is produced by T-Series and Select Media Holdings LLP. The film is written and directed by Abhishek Dudhaiya. The movie will be produced by Ginny Khanuja, Vajir Singh, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Abhishek Dudhaiya.
