Priyanka Chopra’s new TV series called Citadel!

It’s common news that Priyanka Chopra has signed a new TV series called Citadel, which is being backed by the Russo brothers of Avengers fame.

Well the spy series might have only just gone into production, but Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK have already been hired to direct a Hindi spin-off of it! From what I understand, the American series will lead to smaller local-language shows that are set in the same universe, with Mexican and Italian spin-offs also going ahead. I think what we’ll see is a truly international franchise.

Akshay Kumar is baddie for dhoom!

First Shahrukh Khan was linked to the villain’s role in Dhoom 4, axnd then Salman Khan’s name was thrown into the mix.

Now there are fresh rumours that Akshay Kumar might play the baddie in a reboot of the action series! There’s also buzz that Aditya Chopra has suggested that his younger brother Uday and Abhishek Bachchan be replaced by younger A-listers. I should remind you that there has been no official confirmation from Yash Raj Films, so I’d wait for that before getting too excited.

Now Rajkummar Rao to romance with Kriti Sanon!

As per reports, Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Sanon are collaborating again in Dinesh Vijan’s yet-untitled situational comedy. The movie also features Paresh Rawal and Dimple Kapadia.

The movie rotates around Rajkummar who is an orphan and he and his lady love Kriti decides to adopt parents. He brings an older couple home, who almost end up destroying his life and marriage. Talking about the movie, Dinesh told to a daily, “This innovative idea came from real life though it is not inspired by any incident in particular. We have spun it into a crazy comedy with our unique tadka."

Thi untitled comedy will be directed by Gujarati director Abhishek Jain. Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Sanon will begin the shoot in Delhi in mid-March.

Tahira Kashyap’s happiness for hubby Ayushmann’s kissing scene with a man!

Numerous wives of Bollywood celebs have often expressed uneasiness about their partners’ kissing their heroines on screen. However, Ayushmann Khurrana’s wife and director Tahira Kashyap, tells she not only does not mind but is fine with seeing him kiss a man or woman on screen. In Ayushmann’s next release, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, spinning around same-sex relationships, the actor will be seen kissing his male co-star and romantic lead Jitendra Kumar.

When questioned about her reaction to her hubby kissing a man, Tahira reveals, “I was delighted to see Ayushmann kissing a guy on screen! Honestly, now I view it from the perspective of respecting an artist and his work – so whether he kisses a man or woman, I am seeing the emotion of the character. When he kisses a girl, I can see that the man is in love with her and this is what he needs to do to show love. I would make my characters in my movies do the same. And now if he is kissing a man that’s the most natural thing for him to do because he is gay and that’s his way of expressing love.”

She further revealed, “Who am I to judge? My perspective of watching him on screen is surely from the perspective of what he as a character should be doing and in Shubh Mangal Zyada Savdhaan this is what he should do because he is in love with the boy. What else do you do when you are in love?”

Recently, Deepika Padukone’s first look as Romi Dev in Kapil Dev’s biopic, ‘83 is finally out and we can really say it was worth the wait. Nailing Romi Dev’s look to the ‘T’, Deepika becomes the former Indian team captain’s wife and the similarity is uncanny. Standing along with Ranveer Singh aka Kapil Dev in the photograph, Deepika as Romi is all set to turn the supportive wife of the 1983 world cup winning team’s captain.

Sharing the first look from film ‘83 on social media, Deepika stated that she is delighted to play a small but very significant part in a story that is registered in the sport's history. Deepika wrote, “To be able to play a small, but significant part in a film that captures one of the most iconic moments in sporting history has been an absolute honour.”

Well-known Kareena Kapoor Khan and Malaika Arora are among the stars in Bollywood who share a great bond of friendship.

Recently, while Kareena and Malaika were spending time together, Taimur Ali Khan and Arhaan Khan too were having fun together. A prevue of Bebo’s ‘baby’ hanging out with Malaika’s son was shared by Malaika on Instagram.

Deepika to dedicate her award to every acid attack survivor!

International diva Deepika Padukone began the year with a lovely film Chhapaak hit the screens earlier in January. The film tells a real-life story of an acid attack survivor, Laxmi Agarwal and while it did not do very well at the box office, it did start a dialogue about acid attacks, while sending across a strong message about it.

Lately, at the Femina Beauty Awards 2020, the actress was given an award for being the most powerful performer of the year, and while she graciously accepted it, she has a dedication to make.

Oh her social media account, she wrote, "Chhapaak truly has been the most difficult film of my career... Having said that, Chhapaak for me is not just a film. It is a movement; that has challenged the definition and our understanding of ‘Beauty’”.

She further added, "I dedicate tonight’s award to Laxmi Agarwal and every single acid attack survivor who on this most incredible journey have shown us all what beauty truly means!"

Ranveer Singh to play lead in Mr India?

In 90’s, Shekhar Kapur’s Mr India was special. Now, it looks like Bollywood is all set to come up with a spin off from Anil’s Mr India and it may just feature none other than dnamic star Ranveer Singh.

As per a media report, producer-director Ali Abbas Zafar is in advance talks with Mr Singh for a spin off which will be based on the modern times. The report specified that the movie will not be a reboot nor a remake of the original but will be a spin off in the current times. Seemingly, Ranveer has liked the idea of the movie and is in early talks with Ali about it. The report also stated that Ali is being extra careful with the script of the movie as Mr India starring Anil Kapoor continues to be one of the most iconic films ever made in Bollywood.

South star Nithiin got engaged to his longtime sweetheart Shalini on February 15, 2020. After dating for 4 years, the duo decided to take their relationship to a new level. Hollywood biggie Justin Bieber has had a decent week with the release of his highly anticipated album, Changes, which is more or less like an open love letter to THE woman in his life, Hailey Baldwin.

Tara Sutaria’s Tadap with Ahan Shetty!

Bollywood’s newbie Tara Sutaria started her Bollywood career with Karan Johar's Student of the Year 2. In her last outing Sidharth Malhotra starrer Marjaavaan, Tara played a mute character. After Marjaavaan, Tara is all set for the Hindi remake of Telugu hit RX 100, titled Tadap starring along with Suneil Shetty's son Ahan Shetty. Tadap has been shot in Mussoorie, where Tara also shot for her first movie Student of the Year 2, she recalls. Tara discloses that she is going to do something different in her film that the audience does not expect of her.

Gully Boy wins big at Filmfare 2020!

Recently, The Filmfare Awards 2020 was held on 15th February 2020 at Guwahati in Assam. The award ceremony was broadcasted on the Colors channel on 16th February 2020 at 9 pm. This was the first time that Filmfare Awards took place outside Mumbai.

Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer Gully Boy definitely came out with flying colours with not just the cast winning big, but also a number of numerous awards in the technical category. The movie won in a total of 13 awards. Besides Gully Boy, Article 15 and Uri: The Surgical Strike also found a place on the list.
