The incident, where an intruder broke into their Bandra home and stabbed Saif Ali Khan during an attempted robbery, sent shockwaves across the nation. Speaking to Barkha Dutt on Mojo Story, Kareena confessed that she is "still kind of struggling" with the memory of seeing an intruder in her child's room. She highlighted the rarity of such incidents in Mumbai, comparing it to the more frequent occurrences in the US, indicating how deeply unsettling it was for her family.

"I am still kind of struggling with what it does to see someone there in your child's room," Kareena shared, admitting to severe anxiety in the initial months. "It was very difficult to sleep and get back to the person with that kind of normalcy."

She likened the lingering impact to the grief of losing a loved one, acknowledging that while the memory might fade, the experience never truly leaves you. However, as a mother, her primary concern was to shield her children from her own fear. "I don't want to live in that fear for my children because that's also wrong to put that stress onto them," she stated, emphasizing the tough journey of balancing her personal anxiety with her duties as a mother and wife.

Now, Kareena Kapoor Khan took to Instagram to pronounce her, Saif Ali Khan, and Taimur Ali Khan’s support towards UNICEF, Give India and International Association for Human Values (IAHV) without mentioning the donation amount. Kareena posted, “At difficult times like these, we need to come together and help each other. We both have taken steps to do just that and have pledged our support to UNICEF, GIVE INDIA and International Association for Human Values (IAHV). Furthermore, Kareena posted another note on Instagram pronouncing their contribution towards PM CARES and Maharashtra CM’s Relief Fund. Saif also disclosed that Taimur has taken a keen interest in cooking. Yes, you heard that right. All of 3, Taimur recently baked a cake for his parents. When asked if he cooks for Taimur at all, Saif told Mashable India, "He cooked a cake for us yesterday."

The actor then went on to show a picture of Taimur with the cake on his phone and as usual the young one looked adorable as he posed with it.

She has a creative job, which she really likes. It’s in the Kapoor DNA to be actors. I’ve seen this — she is happy being at work. She goes to shoot and comes back without making a fuss. There is no drama about ‘Oh! I am shooting tomorrow’. She balances everything well in life.”

About Taimur, Saif revealed, “It’s important for us to give Taimur a lot of time. Kids get affected if they are with their nannies all the time. It’s also a privilege for us to be able to be around him. Taimur is so happy when he’s with us. Balancing time between work and family is important. Our profession is so unstructured that sometimes, you really wish you had stipulated work hours. I mean, there are occasions when we work from 9 am to 9 pm, and sometimes in a shift that’s the exact reverse, and these kind of work hours can get really tiring. I wish we could start early and wrap up by sundown.”
