The newbie Priyanka Banerjee has pulled off a casting coup
for her maiden short film titled Devi.
The hard-hitting film will centre on nine oppressed women
from different strata of society who share their stories while sitting together
in a room. And Priyanka has cast Kajol, Shruti Hassan, Rama Joshi, Neha Dhupia,
Neena Kulkarni, Mukta Barve, Sandhya Mhatre, Yashaswini Dayama and Shivani
Raghuvanshi to fill those nine roles! The films stellar cast was drawn to it
for its message of sisterhood and the need for women to stand with each other.
