But, a section of the viewers lately raised a few questions over certain scenes and also on Samantha Akkineni's skin tone in the show.  After getting many comments, makers Raj and DK have finally responded on why it was necessary for Samantha to look that way as Raji in the second season of The Family Man 2.

Raj talked about the same saying Sam plays the role of a soldier who is living under harsh and edgy conditions. "It’s really the character. At the end of it, if we look down upon such things in the context of beauty by saying somebody is dark, somebody is fair, here she is a soldier. She is a warrior, a weapon, a person who is living under harsh, rough, and edgy circumstances. So, it’s like how she learnt to fight so convincingly, I don’t know if you have seen a female character fight so convincingly before, all credits to Samantha, the idea was to make her into that." He further added saying it was just the right get up and nothing to do with the beauty. 

On the other side, DK told Samantha had to look a certain way and it was a whole packaging. "There is no commentary about the skin colour. This is just the way she is," the filmmaker stated in a media chat.

Recently, The Baahubali star Prabhas disclosed the reason for not doing a movie with Samantha Akkineni. He reveals that he and the Oh Baby actress Samantha have height issues.

According the newest media reports, Prabhas goes on to add that due to the difference in both their heights, he did not star in a movie along with Samantha. Prabhas is 1.83 m tall and Samantha is 1.58 m in height. Now, the fans and film viewers were taken by surprise when Prabhas specified that the height issue was the reason for not pairing up with the gorgeous Samantha Akkineni.

On the film front, Prabhas will feature along with Pooja Hegde in the forthcoming movie which is tentatively titled Prabhas 20. The movie is directed by ace south director Radha Krishna Kumar.

Samantha Akkineni to enact Carnatic singer Nagarathnamma in her next?

As per latest buzz, South biggie Samantha Akkineni was seemingly approached by legendary director Singeetham Srinivasa Rao to essay the lead role in the biopic of popular Carnatic singer Nagarathnamma.

As per media reports that Samantha is mighty impressed with the biopic and she is keen to come on-board for the bilingual project. The movie is likely to begin next year and it will be released in Telugu and Tamil.

Director Singeetham Srinivasa Rao’s last directorial was Welcome Obama, which was released in 2013. Nagarathnamma was a Carnatic singer from the pre-independence era and reports suggest that she was a descendant of the famous devadasi community.
