Azure Entertainment and Warner Bros. India have teamed up
for a Hindi adaptation of the Hollywood hit The Intern.
And the two companies have pulled off a casting coup by
roping in Rishi Kapoor and Deepika Padukone to step into Robert De Niro and
Anne Hathaway’s shoes! Deepika’s Ka Productions will also serve as an
additional producer on the film where she’ll play the sceptical boss to
Chintuji’s 70-year-old intern character. DP clearly wasn’t lying when she said
she was looking for a light project post Chhapaak!
