A sequel to Bunty Aur Babli has begun production on the sly!
It seems Yash Raj Films quietly got Bunty Aur Babli 2.0 up
and running last week, with Rani Mukerji set to be the only member of the
original cast returning for round 2. The comedy will be helmed by the newbie
Varun S Sharma, who has worked as an AD on films like Kill Dil and Sultan but
is best known for writing Bharat. The movie will be about Bunty Aur Babli
coming out of retirement to solve a spate of robberies and will star Siddhant
Chaturvedi and Sharvari Wagh as the young chors. I hope it’s as good as the
original was!
