Song Shehar Ki Ladki’s new version for Diana Penty and Badshah in Khandaani Shafakhana!

After Karan Johar's Kalank, Sonakshi Sinha is all set to star in her second movie of the year, Khandaani Shafakhana. The forthcoming comedy drama dropped its trailer recently and the movie will also see rapper Badshah making his acting debut. The movie is scheduled to hit the theatres next month and the movie's trailer has received an encouraging reaction.

Now, the makers are now planning to recreate the song “Shehar Ki Ladki” from 1996 film Rakshak which starred Raveena Tandon, reported a daily. Suniel Shetty starred in the original song along with Raveena, but the remake will feature Badshah and Diana Penty who has been roped in especially for the song.

As per the report, the song will be shot soon at a studio in Mumbai. A source revealed to a daily, “Unlike the original track, which was filmed outdoors—from a railway station to a bridge the modern-day rendition is a conventional party number in a pub."

The song will also include a rap portion which will be sung by Badshah.

Recently, the LA premiere of Spider-Man: Far From Home took place, as the saw the entire cast in attendance including Tom Holland and Jake Gyllenhaal.

Holland disclosed during the live streaming of the red carpet that he and Gyllenhaal accidentally wore the same maroon coloured mocassins and that Jake would carry it off much better than him. Tom looked dapper as the actor opted for an all-maroon outfit to match his mocassins which included a simple sweatshirt, blazer and trousers. His identical spectacles were an added touch. On the other side, Gyllenhaal looked devilishly attractive in an olive green velvet t-shirt which was paired with a dark blue blazer, matching trousers and a gold chain.

Guinness book of world records holder South star Vijaya Nirmala passes away at 73!

Well-known South filmmaker and actor Vijaya Nirmala who has acted in over 200 films, passed away on Thursday morning at the age of 73.

As per media reports, Veteran Vijaya took her last breathe at a hospital in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. Vijaya is survived by her son Naresh and husband Krishna. Vijaya Nirmala is known for being the first woman to direct 44 movies that made her enter Guinness book of world records. The actress made her way to film industry at the age of seven with a Tamil movie Matsyarekha. She went on to appear in over 200 films in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.

It's a novel concept so it immediately caught the actor's fancy and he has given it a verbal nod as of now."

A source discloses, "It's an espionage spy thriller. It will involve a huge budget and currently, both Tinu and Sushant are taking the film to several big banners who can come on board to finance the project. But Sushant is extremely kicked about the whole film since it involves a lot of action and also has a hint of nationalism in it."

Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha is presently gearing up for her forthcoming movie Khandaani Shafakhana, which is slated to release on 26 July, 2019. The story of Khandaani Shafakhana revolves around a bubbly Punjabi girl named Babita "Baby" Bedi, played by Sonakshi, who can do anything for her family. The movie is a comedy drama and the trailer has been received well by the audience.

Lately, conjectures were doing the rounds that Sonakshi will be seen essaying the lead role in Paralympic Champion Deepa Malik's biopic. Deepa Malik is the first Indian woman to win a Medal at the Paralympics. At the age of 42 years, she was honoured with the Arjuna award and in 2016 she won the silver medal in shot put at Paralympic Games. Speaking about the same, Sonakshi revealed, “It's all speculation right now. I am not the kind of person who would talk about a film until I've signed on the dotted line. People can speculate what they want to but when my films have to be announced, the right people will do it.”

When questioned if she is interested in working in the biopic Sonakshi told, “I'd be interested in doing a good story, something which challenges me and has a great role for me.”
