Shruti Haasan slammed all media buzzes over involvement in Kamal Haasan-Gautami separation!

Amidst gossips that Shruti had a role to play in father Kamal Haasan’s break up with his live-in partner of 13-years, Gautami, but it’s an explanation from the actress’ side.

Shruti’s representative recently released a statement that read as “Shruti has never commented on anyone's personal life and their decisions. For her, what matters most is standing by, loving and respecting her family - her parents and her sister, no matter what.”

In the meantime, Kamal has also criticized certain media houses for publishing a false statement from the veteran actor’s side and posted, “It is indecent that someone is playing by issuing a statement in my name. Someone has used my name and issued (false) statements. This is unethical. I do not want to comment on this.”

Remarkably, rumors about Shruti and Gautami not sharing a pleasant relationship had also surfaced earlier when the twosome was working together on Sabash Naidu, a directorial venture by Kamal. It is believed that the differences appeared when Shruti expressed her displeasure for costumes designed by Gautami.

But, later her spokesperson cleared the air and told that Gautami and Shruti are on good terms and the issue with the costumes has been resolved professionally!

After almost 13 years’ relationship, Gautami and Kamal Haasan are no longer together!

South actress and veterans Gautami Tadimalla and Kamal Haasan have been together for a good 13 years. But, Gautami recently took to Twitter to share a blog where she declared her separation from Mr Haasan. "It is heartbreaking for me to have to say today that I and Mr. Haasan are no longer together. After almost 13 years together, it has been one of the most devastating decisions that I have ever had to make in my life," posted the 48-year-old actress, who is also a cancer survivor.

Not disclosing the particular reason for this big decision, Gautami posted, "This decision to set forth on my own at this stage in my life is perhaps one of the most difficult decisions any woman will ever have to make but it is a necessary one for me. For I am a mother first and foremost and I have a responsibility to my child to be the best mother that I can be. And to do that, it is essential that I am at peace within myself."

Three months back, there were rumors of a quarrel between Gautami and Kamal Haasan's daughter Shruti. But, Shruti had slammed the rumors saying that they were only discussing work and that Shruti was only giving professional feedback to Gautami as they were working on a film together.

But, Gautami did not touch on any of these topics as she further added, "It is no secret that I have always been a fan of Mr. Haasan’s since before I came to the film industry and I continue to admire and cheer on his monumental talent and achievements. I have stood by him through all his challenges and they have been precious moments for me. I have also learned a great deal from working with him as costume designer on his films and I’m proud that I was able to do justice to his creative vision in those films. Along with all of his accomplishments to date, I know that there is much more to come from him for his audience and I look forward to applauding those successes."
