Well-known South filmmaker and actor Vijaya Nirmala who has acted
in over 200 films, passed away on Thursday morning at the age of 73.
As per media reports, Veteran Vijaya took her last breathe
at a hospital in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. Vijaya is survived by her son Naresh
and husband Krishna. Vijaya Nirmala is known for being the first woman to
direct 44 movies that made her enter Guinness book of world records. The
actress made her way to film industry at the age of seven with a Tamil movie
Matsyarekha. She went on to appear in over 200 films in Telugu, Tamil and
Malayalam.
Celebs from the South Indian Film industry and fans have
been expressing grief over the death of the legendary actress.
