Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor is busy in doing preparations for
Shree Narayan Singh's next venture Batti Gul Meter Chalu. A lot has been said
about the main lady of the movie.
Previously, there were hearsays that Katrina Kaif has been
approached for the movie and it was because of her tight-packed schedule, she
couldn't step in. At an event yesterday, Shahid told, "No heroine has been
decided for that film yet. Once it's finalised I'll let you know."
Just now, the reports came that Shraddha Kapoor might be a
part of the movie. A source revealed a daily, "Negotiations with Shraddha
are on. She is yet to give her nod. But, she should be able to work on
it."
When we got in touch with director Shree Narayan Singh, he sacked
all the news and revealed, "I have met a lot of people. You know we are
still at the scripting stage and till the script is not ready, how can I say
who will play the role. So, the role of the leading lady in the film is really
important as the film is set in a different place and has a different language.
Yes, I am meeting everybody, I mean the names which have been popped up."
Singh had previously told, "I am thrilled to begin work
on Batti Gul in Uttarakhand. There is a different vibe here which keeps
bringing me back to this beautiful state. Showing a new side to it will be a
big challenge."
