Padmapriya Janakiraman is a famous name down south and now
the actor is making a Bollywood debut with Saif Ali Khan's Chef. She will essays
the role of Saif's estranged wife in the movie. Numerous not know that
Padmapriya owns an association that promotes gender equality in the Malayalam
film industry.
While speaking about the association, she revealed a daily,
"We aim at promoting security for women at work. We've noted that both,
men and women are unprepared to face the hazards of workplace imbalance."
The diva also made sure that Bollywood need an organisation that protects its
women.
Speaking about the latest controversy about Kangana Ranaut's
Nepotism comments, she told, "Many people claimed she was playing the
victim card. But, that might not be the case. Any woman who has a distinct
opinion is criticised. If we hope to create a conducive working environment, we
have to start somewhere. Let us begin by agreeing to disagree."
