Julie 2 starring south actress Raai Laxmi has been hitting
the headlines ever since former CBFC Chief Pahlaj Nihalani revealed its steamy
teaser recently. It was almost ironic to see the former CBFC Chief, who was the
flag bearer of sanskar and behind many movies being censored, shed his avatar
to bring to this erotic thriller which he claims is an adult clean film. Now,
we don’t know what that means.
The film marks the Bollywood debut in a leading role of Raai
Laxmi, who is a famous face in South and has been part of as many as 49 movies.
But, did you know that Raai Laxmi once dated our former
Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni?
In a previously interview to a famous tabloid, the actress
was quoted as telling, "I was the brand ambassador for the team that he
was a part of and we were together for less than a year. We had never committed
to each other and never thought of getting married either, so I don’t
understand why people would talk about us. It didn’t work for us, so we moved
on.”
