Veteran actor Tom Alter, who is famously known for his roles
in TV show Zabaan Sambhalke, is suffering from cancer.
The actor is diagnosed with fourth stage bone cancer and his
son Jamie Alter confirmed the news to a famous tabloid. When asked him the details,
Jamie desisted from speaking much and specified, "It’s not a good time to
talk. I will call you in the evening."
Tom was admitted to the hospital a few days back when he
complained of body pain. Alter was working on his new movie titled Redrum A
Love Story, which is being directed by Dhruv Sachdeva. When he was questioned
about Tom's health, he specified, "We haven’t been told to what his health
concern is but we know there are health concerns. We spoke to the family last
week but they were, perhaps, hesitant to share the detail."
When the tabloid informed him about Tom being diagnosed with
cancer, he responded to it telling, "I am speechless. I will get in touch
with the family again."
Playwright Sayeed Alam, who is very close to Alter spoke to
an online portal and told, "We are all praying for his recovery and I am
sure he will recover."
