Bollywood diva Bipasha Basu, who was on a sabbatical post
her wedding with hubby Karan Singh Grover, is now finally planning to make her
silver screen comeback. If reports are to be believed, she has shown interest
in a script and may soon pursue it forward.
As per to a report in a famous tabloid, Bipasha is narrowing
down a script which would be a remake of 2009's The Blind Side. A source
was quoted telling, “Bipasha is on the lookout for a studio to co-produce the
film with her. Once that happens, they will finalize a director."
Bipasha, seemingly, is keen on playing Sandra Bullock's
character from the original movie. The character was that of a wealthy
matriarch who adopts an underprivileged child, rather strong school kid and
helps him get ahead, by making choices for him in the sport and colleges he
picks.
The source further added that the actress is presently in
talks over obtaining the remake rights, but it will be completely changed to
suit Indian audiences. "Bips loved that Leigh Anne’s character has complex
shades to her. A formal announcement will be made once everything
is finalised," Source further added.
Bipasha when speaking about the movie only said that it's
perhaps too early for her to talk about it.
Bipasha presently is preparing up to join Salman Khan on
his Dabangg tour to Australia and New Zealand. He will be joined by
Sonakshi, Badshah and others as they perform live for the
international audience.
