Ever since the cast of the film Veere Di Wedding was
finalized with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha
Talsania, everyone has been thrilled and is waiting for this movie to be made
under Rhea Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor’s joint production.
Following the news of Kareena’s pregnancy, there were rumors
that she may opt out of the project. Then, the producers released an official
statement confirming that the actress is still very much a part of the movie.
Speaking about Kareena's role in the movie, Anil Kapoor said
a famous tabloid, "Kareena is to deliver her baby in December. Then, she
will start working on her body, which is the information that Rhea (Kapoor;
daughter) has given to me. So, we are working [on the film] accordingly. In
fact, Bebo has threatened that she is going to look her best ever [in the
film]. And as I know her, I am sure Kareena is going to look her best."
Anil also shared that the movie is about friendship. He told,
“It’s about friendship, and I feel that in today’s world, besides your family
supporting you, sometimes friendship can go beyond family. So that’s what the
film is about."
