Bollywood beauty Vidya Balan, who is in Sujoy Ghosh's Kahaani
2 which released on Friday, will be rejoicing her fourth wedding
anniversary with husband Siddharth Roy Kapur on December 14.
In an interview with a famous tabloid, Vidya told, “He’s
non-reactive compared to me. I don’t think I can ever reach his level of being
non-reactive. I sure do marvel at that quality in him. It is amazing to be in
that space, as he meets so many people all the time."
Admiring Siddharth, Vidya added, "But he handles people
beautifully. I love being around people and get along with them as well. I am a
reactive person, which could be because I am a very sensitive (person). I
haven’t been able to change that about myself.”
Going by Vidya's words, wedding was never a plan for her.
She told the tabloid, “I never dreamt of getting married. After I met
Siddharth, I think it was a natural progression. He was the only man I could
ever imagine getting married to.”
Their marriage was a low-key affair where there were no
Bollywood giants present. Only close friends and family were there. They have
always managed to stay away from controversies. On this note, Vidya also shared
that, “I am quite cut off from the scrutiny. I don’t read or watch
entertainment news. I haven’t developed a thick skin yet and things affect me.
The best thing for me is to keep away [from it]. It’s a defense mechanism for
me. If I don’t hear or read anything, I won’t react either.”
