Dangal’s actresses Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra
will be seen essaying Geeta and Babita Phogat respectively in Dangal, which is
based on the life of Mahavir Singh Phogat, who trained his daughters in
wrestling and in a chat, Fatima and Sanya revealed about their first meeting
with the Phogat sisters.
Fatima revealed, ''When we met Geeta and Babita for the
first time, we were totally awestruck as we had read and heard a lot about them
and had also seen their wrestling videos. However, when we met Aamir Khan, we
were not really star struck as such.''
When questioned for the reason behind this, Fatima told,
''When we met Aamir sir for the first time, he did not look like Aamir Khan at
all. He had put on weight and resembled a teddy bear than a film star, so it
was not like meeting a celebrity at all.''
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Dangal, which also stars Sakshi
Tanwar and Girish Kulkarni, is scheduled to release this weekend.
