International diva Priyanka Chopra co-hosted the Global
Citizen Festival with Hugh Jackman, Neil Patrick Harris and Salma Hayek in
NYC in September. Now, in association with famous band Coldplay and other
Bollywood celebrities, the Global Citizen event is today taking place in Mumbai,
India.
Priyanka, who is presently shooting in NYC for her TV show
Quantico, missed being part of the concert on her own home turf and took to
Instagram to share her feelings. An excited Priyanka posted, "So excited
that the Global Citizen Festival is happening in Mumbai today… Really wish I
could be there, but sending lots of good vibes from NYC… I’ve got some major
#FOMO! I can guarantee that you guys will have loads of fun with my friends and
colleagues at #GlobalCitizenIndia @glblctznIN #BeGoodDoGood

Also performing at the concert today will be artists
like Jay Z, Demi Lovato and The Vamps along with Bollywood stars
Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, AR Rahman, Amitabh Bachchan and
others.
The festival is an initiative raise awareness about gender disparity,
education, sanitation,and other social work around the globe.
