Director Anubhav Sinha tells he is facing issues as far as
cash is concerned in his personal life, but he is sure his upcoming release
"Tum Bin 2" won't hurt due to the demonetisation move by
the government.
"Like any commoners, I am affected by demonetisation,
but I am hopeful about my film. It won't suffer at the box office. As a major
amount has been recovered, now I am looking forward to a good weekend
collection," Sinha said.
"Tum Bin 2", produced by T-Series, is releasing on
Friday. It is reportedly made on a budget of Rs 14.5 crore, containing the cost
of production as well as print and publicity. Interestingly, the movie is said
to have already recovered Rs 12 crore from its music, satellite and digital
rights sale.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi's decision to scrap Rs 500 and
Rs 1000 notes has affected ticket sales of movies.
Asked about his opinion about the government's decision,
Sinha told, "I don't have enough knowledge to comment on that, or
analyse the bigger picture. However, like common people, I am also facing problem
with hard cash and note exchange."
"Tum Bin 2" features newcomers Neha Sharma, Aditya
Seal and Aashim Gulati.
