After months of conjecture about their marital status,
Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan have lastly filed for divorce at Bandra's family
court, a famous magazine reported. The duo had issued a joint statement pronouncing
their separation in March, this year.
Since then, the two stars were trying to work out their
relationship and divorce was kept on hold. In fact, both Malaika and Arbaaz
were spotted together on numerous occasions, the newest one being their son
Arhaan's birthday party, held last week.
While both Malaika and Arbaaz did not answer to calls or
text messages by the magazine, source have confirmed that the two filed for
divorce last week, after courts reopened after Diwali break.
Seemingly, the divorce has been filed by mutual consent and
soon, the duo will appear for compulsory counselling sessions.
