However Sushant Singh Rajput is being clapped for the great act
in his latest release M.S Dhoni: The Untold Story, the good-looking actor was seemingly
more eager to see the response from his own family. As per some news, Sushant
had even stopped his family from watching the movie on their own and planned a
trip to the capital to catch their live reaction.
When we lately met Sushant in the capital, we couldn't
resist asking him if the entire Rajput family had seen the film or not.
"Yeah, they finally did. And they were extremely proud that I dropped out
of engineering college to pursue acting. It was a huge compliment for me,"
told the overjoyed Sushant. For those who don't know, Sushant was a mechanical
engineering student at Delhi Technological University (DTU), and chose to drop
out in the 3rd year to pursue an acting career.
Fascinatingly, Sushant's elder sister Mitu was the real
cricket player in his family and she even helped her baby brother to don
Dhoni's role with excellence. When probed if he got any piece of advice from
any of the family members after they saw the movie he joked, "You know
they always had something to say. Like during Kai Po Che and Detective Byomkesh
Bakshy! which they loved equally, they told me where I could've done better.
Here though, they had nothing to tell me." Adding further he told,
"They know me inside out and they're big fans of Dhoni, so I feel it's a
big step forward if I could convince them that this guy is me."
