Its Golden Jubilee for Dilip Kumar-Saira Banu’s blissful union and lovingness!

In this modern era, where relations are trembling away in a minute, there's this one evergreen pair of Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu who have really reaffirmed our belief in love and marriages. The legendary duo got married on October 11th, 1966 and completes 50 golden years.

When both got married then Dilip Kumar was 44 and Saira Banu was only 22but love happened. Dilip Kumar-Saira Banu's love story is just like movies as with the age difference of nearly 22 years, this was a strange union of two lovers.

Saira Banu's mother- Naseem Banu played a key role in sanctifying their Nikaah. The two got wedded at the Bandra bungalow where the couple resides even today. Only close friends were invited to the guest list.

Dilip Kumar got married Saira in 1966 and after four years the real life duo came together for Gopi (1970). Together, these two actors have made their presence felt in films like Choti Bahu (1971), Duniya (1984), Sagina (1974) and Bairaag (1976).

Both have never shied away from admitting their fondness for each other. Even at public events, the beautiful couple has been captured stealing a moment or two of love.

Saira Banu on numerous times has expressed her love for her better (read best) half. She once told, "I fell in love with Dilip Saab when I was 12 years old. Beyond my own romance, I can't see anything. I am still head over heels in love with my Kohinoor, Yousuf Sahab, the way I was when I first felt attracted to him."

On this, Dilip Kumar posted on social media, "You're a daughter of moon, who's come down from the heavens. (bint-e-mehtab ho garduon se utar aayi ho). The heart did not find solace until I met you ."

It's been 50 glorious years for Saira Banu- Dilip Kumar’s togetherness. We congratulate both for this heavenly and lovingly union and closeness.
