Sushant Singh Rajput is here to sustain in Hindi Film Industry!
From Pavitra Rishta to Kai Po Che and now M.S Dhoni:
The Untold Story, he has magnificently traveled a long way! And while riding
high on the success of his last release, Sushant Singh Rajput caught up with us
in the capital and spoke at length about his journey so far, his family's
reaction, getting off twitter and his future ventures.
Ques: How relaxed are you post the release of M.S
Dhoni: The Untold Story? Did you expect the kind of response that this movie
has been garnering from all over?
On asking confidence for M.S
Dhoni: The Untold Story before release, Sushant revealed, “Not
really, but we were very sure about the immense popularity that Dhoni has. We
knew people would be looking forward to this film. We took a risk in the
trailer itself. We had such strong visual effects and we tried to convince
people that this guy is him (Dhoni). It was a very dicey thing which we managed
to pull off. And then the kind of reviews that we are now getting makes it
pretty evident that we have completely convinced them to watch Dhoni. I
remember when we watched the first screening and were like yeah, we've made a
good film.”
Sushant further asked over went off Twitter all of sudden,
Sushant said, “See, I am a very self-obsessed person. So I don't put
pictures for people, I do it for me. Also on Twitter, there are thoughts which
I think I want to put so I use it for that. I remember I was shooting for Raabta at
that time and there was this very important scene coming up and I was getting
distracted. Also, there was a lot of negativity so I was like let me complete
the sequence first. That's why I got off Twitter. Nothing else.”
On the film front, Sushant is uniting again with Parineeti
Chopra in film Takadum and coming in Raabta with Kriti Sanon.
