As we know, Ranbir and Anurag Basu are quite a team as was obvious
with the huge success of their first movie Barfi. And the twosome is all set to
recreate the same magic in their forthcoming film Jagga Jasoos. But, we
now have an exciting update about this actor-director pair who is looking
forward to work together on another endeavor but with a twist.
Anurag has lately pronounced that he will be working on the
sequel of Life In A...Metro and guess who will get into the
producer’s shoes this time? Remarkably, Ranbir has volunteered to be a producer
for the sequel. Remarkably, this is the second time Ranbir will be donning
a producer's hat. Previously, he had his engagement with production in
Basu's Jagga Jasoos.
Speaking about the same, Anurag told, “Ranbir is teaming up
with me as a producer. Though I may want him to essay a pivotal role in the
film, I don't know whether he would be interested. He will always have the
first right of refusal."
And while it is still undecided if Kangana will make an
appearance in this one, Irrfan is sure to make a comeback. Talking on it, the
director disclosed, “Irrfan is committed to the sequel. We haven't worked
together in years. In the last four-five years, we almost teamed up on two
films, but they didn't work out. So this time, we're on.”
