Salman Khan has received a new narrative proposal from renowned screenwriter V. Vijayendra Prasad regarding a possible sequel to the 2015 movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Prasad is well known for writing the screenplays for high-profile blockbusters like RRR and Baahubali. In addition, renowned filmmaker S. S. Rajamouli is his son.
Vijayendra Prasad disclosed in a media chat, "I met Salman last Eid. I narrated a line to him, he liked it. But let's see what happens." As a result, fans might anticipate that a sequel will be announced shortly.
A follow-up, Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2, has been the subject of constant conjecture, but new information suggests that production is proceeding.
According to people close to the production, Salman Khan and Vijayendra Prasad have reportedly met multiple times and developed a strong story proposal that might be the basis for the sequel.
V Vijayendra Prasad is associated with writing several
popular Indian films, including Bobbili Simham (1994), Magadheera (2009), Eega
(2012), the Baahubali films (2015–2017), Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015), and RRR
(2022).
Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and debutante Harshaali
Malhotra are all featured in Kabir Khan's film Bajrangi Bhaijaan. It narrates
the story of Shahida, a six-year-old quiet Pakistani child, and her mother's
separation during their journey back to Pakistan from Delhi. She encounters
Pawan Kumar Chaturvedi, played by Khan, who dedicates his life to ensuring the
girl returns home safely. The film was a big hit when it originally came out
and is now among the highest-grossing Indian films of 2015.
