the initial iterations of Mission Raniganj. Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat
Rescue was ultimately selected as the film's new title. The late mining
engineer Jaswant Singh Gill is the subject of the film made by Tinu Suresh Desai.
He freed miners trapped in a flooded coal mine in Raniganj in November 1989.
