“You cannot win a match alone; everybody has to play” says Manish Wadhwa after two back-to-back hits!


Manish Wadhwa talked about his recent two films, Gadar 2 and Pathaan, being on a high, and working with Sunny Deol and Shah Rukh Khan.

Due to the huge success of his most recent two blockbuster movies, Gadar 2 and Pathaan, senior actor Manish Wadhwa is currently having a good time. The talented actor, who played the antagonist in the spy thriller starring Shah Rukh Khan and Sunny Deol, was hailed for his remarkable performances. Wadhwa played Major General Hamid Iqbal in Gadar 2 and General Qadir in Pathaan, respectively.

In a recent interview with a daily, Manish Wadhwa recalled his experiences working with Shah Rukh Khan and Sunny Deol, two of the most well-known actors in Hindi cinema. "Both are superstars. Both are extremely focused, and they know their job. Like a cricket match. If a man scores a century, it doesn’t help in winning a match. You cannot win a match alone. Everybody has to play. So, if the product is good, if your complete package is good, it is definitely going to work," specified the actor.

"Both Sunny Deol and Shah Rukh Khan always make sure that it is a team effort, which is very good quality," said Manish Wadhwa, as he recalled working on the two back-to-back blockbuster movies with the renowned Bollywood superstar.

The well-known actor, who unquestionably garners high recognition for his terrible villain performances in Pathaan and Gadar 2, expressed his deep thanks for the compliments and his current success. "I am super excited, happy, and blessed. Also, God is kind. This year both the films - Pathaan and Gadar 2 - that I was part of did extremely well. So, feeling really blessed and happy," told Wadhwa in his chat with a daily.
