It’s common news that Priyanka Chopra has signed a new TV
series called Citadel, which is being backed by the Russo brothers of Avengers
fame.
Well the spy series might have only just gone into
production, but Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK have already been hired to direct a
Hindi spin-off of it! From what I understand, the American series will lead to
smaller local-language shows that are set in the same universe, with Mexican
and Italian spin-offs also going ahead. I think what we’ll see is a truly
international franchise.
