Gifted actress-singer Shruti Haasan, who has lent her
voice to songs Joganiyaa (Tevar) and Sannata (Shamitabh),
will be heard singing in her forthcoming movie Gabbar Is Back and
buzz has it that the actress recorded a song for the movie in one hour flat!
A source told that Shruti was shooting in the village of
Pollachi for one of her Tamil films and between her movie schedules and her many
brand shoots, she had just half a day to complete this recording. After a
two-hour car ride to Coimbatore and then a flight to Mumbai, Shruti landed and
went straight into the recording studio, where she recorded the song and took a
flight back to resume her shoot in Pollachi.
Gabbar Is Back stars Akshay Kumar in the lead
role and the movie is the remake of a South film titled Ramanna.
