Ektaa Kapoor criticize Rajat Dalal for faking respect toward women!

Today, television queen Ektaa Kapoor made her debut as host of Shukravar Ka Vaar on the reality show Bigg Boss 18. She delivered a brutal reality check to the housemates without holding back. In response to previous domestic occurrences, Ektaa Kapoor scolded Rajat Dalal for pretending to respect women and bringing up the parents of other contestants in a heated dispute.

Ektaa Kapoor questions Rajat Dalal straight, “Aap kehte ho aap auraton ko respect karte ho. Jabhi koi ladki pe aach aata hain, aap khade ho jate ho, ‘Ye ladki pe koi ungli nahi uthayega’- ye aap bolte ho ki nahi? Toh kisike maa ko gali kyase de sakte ho? (You say that you respect women. Whenever a girl faces trouble, you stand up and say, "No one will point a finger at her"—don’t you? Then how can you use foul language about someone’s mother?)”

Rajat Dalal clarifies, “Dekho ji gussa mein char cheez… (See, during anger, a few things...)” The filmmaker interferes, “Lekin guess mein toh aapke izzat chali jaati hain. (But your reputation also fades due to anger.)” She goes on to say that although Rajat defends women's rights, he himself begins to treat them disrespectfully out of rage. She is asked to identify which candidate he has done so for by the social media influencer.

Kapoor claims to have seen a video of him abusing the mother of a male competitor during their altercation. Mishra Avinash gives a nod. To defend his actions, Dalal claims, “Pata nahi andar kya scene hain, aam admi ko aap road pe bhi chhedoge toh wo chalte chalte bhi gaali dey dega. Ye sab log star hain na… (I don't know what's the big deal inside, but if you tease a regular guy,t hen he will abuse you. These people are stars...)”

It's not about being famous, according to Kapoor. In an attempt to justify his actions, Rajat Dalal claims, "Jayse mahaul mein mein bade huye hu, jayse ladko ke sath rehta hu, gaali galoch normally ho jata hain, aurr rahi baat gaali ki, wo mein chillake nahi dii thi, wo mere bhavnao tha, jo shabd mein nikla. Uske liye mein sabke samne maafi mangi. (The kind of environment I grew up in, the kind of boys I hang out with, using foul language happens normally. And as for the abusive words I used, I didn’t shout them out; they were an expression of my emotions, which slipped out in the moment. For that, I have apologized to everyone publicly.)”

He inquired twice about his family members, as Ektaa Kapoor notes, suggesting that he did so on purpose. She continues by saying that people in this nation revere seniors more than men and women. “Aapne agar aaj mera pita ka naam bhi liya hota toh mein ghar ke andar aati aapko samjhane aur seekhane ki kisike bhi parents pe maat jaiye. Kyunki maa baap jo hote hain wo bhagwan hote hain humlog ke liye.”(If you had taken my father’s name today, I would have entered the house to explain and teach you not to drag anyone’s parents into this. Because parents are like gods to us.)

She also educated Sara Khan, Shrutika Arjun, Vivian Dsena, and Chaahat Pandey while she was interacting with the hosuemztes.

Instead of Salman Khan hosting the Bigg Boss 18 episode, filmmaker Rohit Shetty will do it in the Weekend Ka Vaar. Colors TV will broadcast it at 9:30 p.m.

Bigg Boss 10 slips in TRP ranking; unable to impress viewers!

This is not a positive news for the Bigg Boss 10 admirers! The Salman Khan show's magic seems to be declining as the newest season has failed to excite the viewers. As per the latest BARC ratings, the reality show couldn't manage to secure a position in the list of top 10 shows on the TRP charts.

The Bigg Boss 10 premiered on Colors in Week 42 and had then managed to feature at the 18th spot. But, the TRPs of BB10 seem to be falling as in the Week 43 report the show was nowhere in the Top 20 list as well! 

In contrast, Naagin 2 and Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki continue to rule the list by securing the 1st and 2nd spots respectively.

Recall the daily soap Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi? How about Ekta Kapoor and Smriti Irani teaming up again? Sound, Union Textiles Minister Smriti Irani and her husband Zubin Irani flew down from the Capital to Mumbai particularly for Ekta Kapoor's Diwali bash on October 29. 

The two spent some excellence time together and this has led to rumour mills speaking about the prospect of teaming up once more. A source revealed a leading tabloid, “Sixteen years ago Ekta and Smriti created television history with their association on one of the most popular soap operas of all time, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. In 2007, they had a fall-out and Smriti left the show. But, their relationship today is very strong and there is a definite possibility of the two teaming up again."

Gauahar and I are back as friends, reveals Kushal Tandon over question on reuniting as lovers!

TV exes Kushal Tandon and Gauahar Khan are at it again. Don’t thrill; they have not got back together. Well, they have now become friends.

In an interview with a famous tabloid, Kushal spoken about Gauahar's show. He told, “The show is by God's grace getting very good response from the viewers, especially the urban one. It is a finite series and will most probably end in a year. It is not a show about kitchen politics and is an out and out thrilling show."

"Gauahar and I are back as friends. We have been friends for around three months now. But Gauahar and I are not getting back together. Once it is gone, it is gone for me. But we can be cordial and friends with each other. Once you have loved someone, you can at least be nice to them as we have shared some nice moments. Why be bad to each other?" further added Tandon.

In a chat with a famous daily, Karishma told, "I play the new antagonist, who seeks revenge on Astika (Nikitin Dheer) for trying to kill me. People assumed that I wasn't open to doing TV probably because I was doing a film and reality shows. I have become choosy and want to take up substantial roles." 

Enquire her if she found the role of Naagin a substantial one and Karishma confesses, "Audiences have taken a liking for supernatural and fantasy shows. The genre is doing well on the small screen and I wanted to get into that mould. I have never played a naagin and such roles have always intrigued me."
