Recently, in an ill-fated turn of events, Beyhadh‘s set caught fire. It occurred that Maya (Jennifer Winget) and Arjun’s (Kushal Tandon) wedding sequence was being shot. As per the script, the mandap was to catch the fire but unluckily, things went out of hand, and the fire spread! 

It was Kushal who jumped into the fire and pulled Jenni out (from the mandap setup).

Thankfully, there were no casualties on the sets. Had Kushal not been attentive, things would have gone worse. 

In a sweet exchange on Twitter, Jennifer thanked Kushal for being her knight in shining armour and saving her life.

Jennifer Winget tweeted, “@KushalT2803 I owe you biiiig time .. you saved my life…”.

Kushal tweeted, “Let's be a Lille filmy here .... Ki main hoon hero tera @jenwinget…”.

The video of the whole incident was later shared by Kushal on his Instagram account. But he did mention how none of the action directors came to Jennifer's rescue, much to his shock.

In an interview with a famous tabloid, Kushal spoken about Gauahar's show. He told, “The show is by God's grace getting very good response from the viewers, especially the urban one. It is a finite series and will most probably end in a year. It is not a show about kitchen politics and is an out and out thrilling show."

"Gauahar and I are back as friends. We have been friends for around three months now. But Gauahar and I are not getting back together. Once it is gone, it is gone for me. But we can be cordial and friends with each other. Once you have loved someone, you can at least be nice to them as we have shared some nice moments. Why be bad to each other?" further added Tandon.

Actress Gauahar Khan, who was previously in a relationship with actor Kushal Tandon, has wished him success for his new show "Beyhadh".

"‘Beyhadh' is fresh, well shot, with a new approach to television. I wish them luck to continue with creating a good watch," Gauahar told to a close source.

"I watched the first episode, all actors have done a good job. Special mention for Kushal, I think a role like this is tailor-made for him. He is doing complete justice to Arjun's character. I wish him more success," she further added.

The twosome was seen together on popular reality show "Bigg Boss 7".

"It's just that I am extremely emotional. And that is something that I want to control. I believe in people very easily, trust them easily. That is something I do at extremes and want to control that." 

The smart TV actor on asking further also spoke about his equation with his ex-girlfriend Gauahar Khan. "There is no bad blood between us, it's all clean blood. Complete peace out!, told Kushal.
