The upcoming film De De Pyaar De 2, starring Ajay Devgn, has created a lot of interest. According to insiders, much of the film will be shot in 'lovely and rustic locations' in Punjab. Earlier, it was claimed that Ajay Devgn, Luv Ranjan, and Bhushan Kumar would return for the sequel. The film will continue where De De Pyaar De left off, exploring funny circumstances inside Rakul Preet Singh's family.

A media source disclosed, "As of now, the production is busy preparing for a 45-50 day schedule in some beautiful and rustic locations in Punjab." R. Madhavan, Rakul Preet Singh, and other cast and crew members will fly to Punjab next month, while Ajay Devgn will join them after finishing his work on Son of Sardar 2 in the UK, according to the same news outlet.

The sequel aims to improve the first film's humor while also introducing a fresh dynamic between Ajay Devgn and Anil Kapoor. South star R Madhavan celebrates his 20th wedding anniversary today. Madhavan took to Instagram and shared a selfie with his wife Sarita Birje on their most special day. He also wrote a lovely message for his wife that read, "You make me feel like I am an emperor with just one smile and that twinkle in your eye, and a slave, with that unconditional love. I am cause you are that beautiful you. So grateful and crazily in love with you.. My love..#married20yearsandcounting."

After 8 years of courtship, the couple tied the knot in 1999 in a traditional Tamil style. The pair is blessed with a son, Vedanta, born in 2005.

SRK and Anushka to celebrate R Madhavan's birthday on the sets of Zero!

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma are now in the US shooting for the movie Zero. The movie is being helmed by Aanand L Rai and also stars Katrina Kaif in the lead role.

Actor R Madhavan will have a special role in this Aanand L Rai film. Even he has accompanied the team to the US where they are presently shooting in Alabama.

Madhavan turned 40 on June 1. The actor celebrated his birthday with the team of Zero. He took to his Instagram page to share photographs of his birthday celebration from the sets of Zero.

In one of the photographs, SRK is feeding cake to the 3 Idiots actor.

Madhavan captioned the photos, "Crazyyy Funnnn Birthdays.. oh man .. Unforgetable..."

Along with Madhavan, actors like Sridevi, Karisma Kapoor, Jimmy Sheirgill, Kajol will also have a special cameo in the film.

Sushant repudiates being upset with R Madhavan!

Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput will soon be seen playing the role of an astronaut in his upcoming film, Chanda Mama Door Ke. Sushant has always been experimental when it comes to essaying characters in his movies. Lately, the actor made headlines when there were news doing the rounds that he is upset with the makers of Chanda Mama Door Ke because they increased the screen timing of co-star R Madhavan.

A source revealed a famous tabloid, "Madhavan had a small role to play in the film, but the makers made few changes in the script and his role has been increased and this hasn’t gone down well with Sushant."

Sushant took to Twitter to repudiate the news and posted, "Ain't true, I believe there are no small roles but only, possibly small actors and @ActorMadhavan is a great one and I often learn from him."

He also further added, "I just can't wait to work with you brother !!" R Madhavan replied back saying, "You are as wise as you are handsome bro.I wish they knew we are way better than this...can't wait to get on the sets with you..."

Putting an end to the conjectures, a source also explained, "R Madhavan and Sushant Singh Rajput have a lot of regard for each other. Sushant is a very secure actor and has never bothered about his co-stars roles or screen time. He's also done Kai Po Che with two other actors. For him it's the film that matters and not the length of the role."

Did R Madhavan ask for a huge amount for Fanney Khan?

Ever since Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra pronounced that he is making a film titled Fanney Khan with Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead, the inquisitiveness of the admirers has gone onto some other level.

Earlier, there were rumors that R Madhavan will be romancing Aishwarya in the movie. And then yesterday, the directer explained that it's Rajkummar Rao who is on board for the movie.

R Madhavan had told that he opted about because of date issues. He told, "I loved the script and was really keen to be part of an interesting ensemble like Fanney Khan, unfortunately I couldn't commit to the project due to date issues. I wish the team of Fanney Khan all the luck."

Now, as per a report in a famous daily, Madhavan questioned for a whopping amount for the role and that's why the makers roped in Rajkummar.

A source was previously quoted telling, “Fanney Khan marks the directorial debut of Atul Manjrekar, who has been a part of the ad world and is a long-time associate of Mehra. For the last couple of weeks the producers, Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra, Bhushan Kumar and Prernaa Arora along with Aishwarya have been locked in a bitter struggle to find the right hero opposite the actress. There was a choice between Madhavan and RajKummar Rao with Aishwarya and Prernaa on one side opting for Rao and Mehra insisting on Madhavan. Ash, who likes to be involved in each and every aspect of a film, and Prernaa wanted the younger Rao to romance the actress in the film while Mehra was extremely impressed by Madhavan’s acting abilities. The discussions kept going on till the solution was finally cracked late on Wednesday afternoon – and the answer was Madhavan!”  

Now Aishwarya romances with R Madhavan in Fanney Khan?

There were numerous gossips that Vicky Kaushal and Rajkummar Rao are both approached for Fanney Khan to romance Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the movie. And now, it is specified that the gifted and handsome actor R. Madhavan has been approached to be paired opposite Aishwarya in the movie. It was already disclosed that Anil and she are not romantically paired opposite each other. If Maddy comes onboard they will come together after a decade. The last time they came together was in Guru (2007) though they were not paired romantically opposite each other.

When we previously questioned the producer of Fanney Khan, Prernaa Arora about Rajkummar and Vicky, she specified, "We were looking at casting. This was our wish list that we were looking at. These were the names that we thought of, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra thought of. Yes, this is not false but this is not something that we have gone ahead with. We are looking at somebody who will suit the character perfectly. So that is something that is going on and soon we will be able to come to a conclusion of who will be cast and in another 10-15 days, we should be done with it."

Fanney Khan deals with the topic of body shaming and that is the reason Aishwarya gave a nod to the movie. The movie is set to go on floors on September 3, 2017.

R. Madhavan and Sushant Singh Rajput act together for Chanda Mama Door Ke!

After Nawazuddin Siddiqui, R. Madhavan is all set to star in Sushant Singh Rajput, Chanda Mama Door Ke.

When enquired about the role, Madhavan told to a famous tabloid, "This role will definitely require much prepping as we are doing it with a lot of authenticity."

"I can’t wait to see this film with my son. I’m sure he’ll be proud of me. It’s such an awesome story and a fantastic team... it’s cutting-edge," he further added.

As he will be playing a pilot in the film, he was asked if he is taking flying lessons. To this, he said, "Not really, we will be working on the simulators."

Sushant welcomed him politely with this tweet. His caption reads, "I've been your fan since a long time. Can't wait to start working with you bro. @ActorMadhavan. #chandamamadoorke".

Madhavan tweeted back to SSR and told, his caption reads, "Brotherrrrrrr the feeling is Mutual... you know I was blown by MSD .. cant wait for the Magic to start ...".

R. Madhavan becomes an 'Encounter specialist'!

Actor R. Madhavan, who was last seen playing a bad-tempered boxing coach in Saala Khadoos, had grown his hair and beard for the role and now, it seems that the actor is toying with the idea of shaving it off.

The reason- Madhavan's next movie after a short break will revolve around 'encounter specialists' and as Madhavan will be seen playing a cop in it, he might have to opt for a short-haired and clean-shaven look. Madhavan added that presently, he is doing research for the movie and that he will be training in the handling of pistols for the role.

But, Madhavan did not reveal any further details about the project.

Why is R. Madhavan disappointed?

He comes across as a very sociable person whether on-screen or off-screen. Well it seems that something has made our Mr. Congeniality - Maddy aka R. Madhavan mad. What is it that has upset him? you may be wondering.

Seemingly, Maddy was in Malaysia where he had gone for the 2015 IIFA Awards and could not attend the success bash of his recent blockbuster Tanu Weds Manu Returns. This seems to have upset the actor.

Tanu Weds Manu Returns has already grossed over 125 crore as per trade reports. To celebrate the success of the movie, its team threw a party in Mumbai on Tuesday.

Maddy was unable to make it for the party due to which the actor seemed to be a bit saddened.
