Dinesh Vijan’s Shiddat with Diana Penty, Sunny Kaushal, Radhika Madan and Mohit Raina!

Dinesh Vijan has announced a new project titled Shiddat starring Diana Penty, Sunny Kaushal, Radhika Madan and Mohit Raina.

The romantic drama that’ll be directed by Kunal Deshmukh of the Jannat films fame will follow the parallel journeys of two couples. Shiddat will be filmed in London, Paris and Punjab, and I’ve heard its plot will have long distance relationships at the heart of it all. Dinu has been on a winning run at the BO with hits like Stree and Luka Chuppi, so I expect big things from Shiddat too!

Varun Dhawan and Aditya Roy Kapur to become brothers in Shiddat!

Bollywood stars Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt have been seemingly paired up once more for their forthcoming movie, Shiddat, which will go on floors early next year. The movie also stars Aditya Roy Kapur in the lead role alongside Sanjay Dutt and Sridevi.

If a report in a tabloid is to be believed, the movie is a family drama where Varun and Aditya will essay brothers in the movie. A source revealed the tabloid, "Varun and Aditya will be playing brothers in the film, while Sridevi and Sanjay Dutt will essay their parents. The two brothers will have a strained relationship throughout the movie.”

The report also suggests the movie is set in the Indo-Pak partition period. The source further added, "Designer Manish Malhotra has already started planning designs for the cast from that era. The ’40s will be recreated and a huge set will be built in the city to shoot the film."

Shiddat will also have a love triangle. "While Varun and Aditya play brothers, Alia is the bone of contention between them. So it’s a love triangle as well," revealed the source.

From the past couple of months, Abhishek and filmmaker Karan Johar have been working on the script back and forth. A source close to the development said to the daily that the movie is in a premature stage.

And now as per a famous tabloid, both Alia and Varun are avoiding to work with each other. It was specified that their mentor KJo has asked them to avoid spotting together, but the reasons are totally different. Speaking about it, a source disclosed to an agency, "Varun has done around eight movies and Alia has done nine movies till date and they have three credits together. So they want to ensure that they take a break for a while from each other."

Well, we have to wait till 2019 to see this pretty pair together on the big screen.

Recently, Varun called Alia the crankiest person he has ever met on Neha Dhupia's talk show. He stated, "She's not cried 100 a percent. She's one of the crankiest people I have met in my life. You've not seen her cry 100 per cent. Her 100 per cent is not going to look good. She goes into a super sonic tone."

Varun Dhawan ropes in Abhishek Varman's 'Shiddat'?

Actor Varun Dhawan seems to have become one of the trusted young stars for big banners—particularly for Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. Varun began his career with KJo's Student Of The Year and has now bagged another movie under the banner.

Apparently, the Badlapur actor has been roped in for Abhishek Varman's next Shiddat. The movie, which is seemingly a love story set against the backdrop of India-Pakistan partition, will have two male leads. The movie will be co-produced by Sajid Nadiadwala's Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.

Apart from SOTY, Varun has worked in Dharma Productions' Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. He is currently working on the production house's next Badrinath Ki Dulhania and he is also tipped to star in a biopic on legendary hockey player Dhyan Chand, which is co-produced by Karan Johar.

Varun will be next seen in Rohit Dhawan's Dishoom, which is slated to release on July 29. The film also stars John Abraham,Jacqueline Fernandez and Akshaye Khanna.
