Dono star Rajveer Deol to reveal on being scared of father Sunny Deol’s onscreen persona!

Taare Zameen Par star Darsheel Safary wants to work with Aamir Khan again!

Being a global sensation before the age of ten is a rare occurrence; it doesn't happen often. One of the fortunate ones was Darsheel Safary, who rose to fame as a result of his costarring role in Aamir Khan's debut film Taare Zameen Par. When asked in the same interview if he thought Aamir Khan didn't actively promote his career after his debut movie Taare Zameen Par, Darsheel reacted, “Not at all! I am very shy. I get awkward with these things. I can’t tell you how many times I have been told, ‘Are you in touch with Aamir uncle? Drop him a text, call him, this and that.’ But I feel shy doing this. I don’t know how to put it in words. It should always happen organically.”

Darsheel said and disclosed that Aamir Khan is aware of all of his current projects despite not working with the star once more. He revealed, “This concept of, ‘tumpe kisi ka haath hai‘, I have never understood that and I have never expected that as well. In fact, after Taare Zameen Par, almost every project that I have done, somewhere or the other, it has been communicated to Aamir that this is the project that I am doing. It’s mostly the case, just to get his blessings.”

Darsheel expressed his desire to take part in an Aamir Khan movie if the opportunity arose and a project was developed. He disclosed, “I want to be a part of that kind of process, not like, ‘Hi sir, I am here, I am looking to work with you again.’ Which I am very excited to, because it has been 15 years since the film, so I would love to share with him what I have learnt from that one experience. I want to show him what I have become, through his guidance.”

Darsheel added that he last interacted with Aamir when filming his 2022 movie Laal Singh Chaddha. He is anxiously awaiting the release of his forthcoming movie Hukus Bukus.

 

Vishal Bhardwaj opens up on facing issues in raising money for films!

Vishal Bhardwaj is a talented filmmaker from Bollywood. Over the years, he has worked on a number of groundbreaking films, such as Satya and Omkara. He was quoted saying, “It is the reality of the market. If I want a budget like a Rohit Shetty movie, then I must deliver a hit like him. This is something we artists should accept. We all have our limitations, even Rohit Shetty. He can't make a film like Christopher Nolan."

The fact that Vishal Bhardwaj is making his feature debut once more with Khufiya after a five-year break is noteworthy. Upon being questioned about the protracted break, he revealed that he started writing Khufiya in 2016 and finished the first draft in 2018. “At the time, it had a male protagonist. I wanted to work with Irrfan, who was unwell. After he passed away, I thought of changing the gender and making the film with Tabu as the protagonist. The budget I required for this wasn't available for any female star. But Netflix gave me the confidence to make the movie that I wanted to make,” told the director.

Vishal Bhardwaj also disclosed information about his ongoing projects. He revealed that he "worked intensely for over a year on that," when speaking about his most recent movie, Pataakha, which was released in 2018. However, it was stopped before he could begin shooting. Radhika Madan and Sanya Malhotra starred in the Midnight's Children (1981) adaption by Salman Rushdie.

He also revealed that he was developing a series for Prime Video based on IC 814, the December 1999 hijacking of Indian Airlines Flight 814. However, the OTT platform "developed cold feet" after the uproar surrounding Saif Ali Khan's Tandav series, which was accused of hurting religious sensitivities.

‘It never feels good’, says director Imtiaz Ali on dealing with criticism!

Both success and failure are equally important. In the Hindi cinema industry, renowned filmmaker Imtiaz Ali has had both kind of experiences. But it was his determination and never-give-up attitude that helped him advance and climb to the top of the charts. Recently, the Jab We Met director opened up about a difficult time in his life and shared how he responds to criticism.

The acclaimed director was talking to a daily. Imtiaz Ali admitted that he had failed miserably a lot during this conversation. He disclosed, “When I look back, I see a lot of failure in my life, a lot of times where everybody feels at certain times. I particularly feel I failed at various times. In a longer discussion, we can discuss this, but I have gained a lot from those times that I have failed. Sometimes, I have gained more from my failures than from my so-called successes. Although it never feels good when people don't love your work, and when things fail, it never feels good. But now, I have enough experience to know that this will also make a contribution to my further growth and my further success on the whole, as a filmmaker. That's how I take it.”

He further divulged, “The one thing that I never want to do, is to be bogged down by failure to the extent that I stop taking risks.”

When questioned if the failure and criticism had ever badly impacted him, Imtiaz admitted, “No, luckily not, because I have kept it that way. And I hope to continue to keep it that way.
