Big B's grandson Agastya Nanda opens up on similarities with The Archies role!

The widely awaited Zoya Akhtar movie The Archies will shortly be accessible on December 7. The cast of the film includes Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, Mihir Ahuja, Aditi Dot Saigal, Yuvraj Menda, and Vedang Raina. Amitabh Bachchan's grandson Agastya Nanda was questioned about how much he resembles the character of Archie Andrews in the eagerly anticipated upcoming Netflix film The Archies at the India Today Mumbai Conclave 2023. He disclosed, “I wouldn't call myself a casanova. Something that we do share in common is our love for music, because it helps you deal with a lot of emotions and that's where we are kind of similar, and yes, I am definitely not a casanova.”

Chatting about his debut, he further disclosed, “I don't think you choose The Archies. It was Zoya who chose and we auditioned for it. Being on Netflix is such an exciting opportunity, being streamed in 190 countries at once. I find it so exciting. I couldn't have asked for a better team of people to work with. These guys over here have become my best friends and we hang out a lot, actually a bit too much.”

When interrogated about his role model, Agastya Nanda revealed, “My role model is my dadi, Ritu Nanda. She isn't with us anymore, but I have always aspired to be like her. She just had this warmth about her that if you were around her, you could feel like you could do anything. I wish to be like that, to give people around me all that positivity and love.”

On December 7th, Netflix will release The Archies, a new original series co-written by Zoya Akhtar, Reema Kagti, and Ayesha Devitre. It has all-star performances from Khushi Kapoor, the daughter of Sridevi and Boney Kapoor, Agastya Nanda, and Suhana Khan, the daughter of Shah Rukh Khan. Agastya and Khushi assume the roles of Archie Andrews and Betty Cooper, respectively, and Suhana takes on the role of Veronica. The movie also stars Vedang Raina, Yuvraj Menda, Mihir Ahuja, and Aditi (Dot).

Well-known star kids Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor and Agastya Nanda have been shooting for their debut film, The Archies in Ooty. Lately the teaser of Zoya Akhtar’s project was released and fans cannot wait to see these star kids make their big debut. Now, it looks like the crew has wrapped up the Ooty schedule of the movie.

Recently, Khushi had shared a pic and mentioned ‘Ooty wrap’ on it and now we can see Khushi, Suhana and Agastya returning to Mumbai. In the video, we can see Suhana Khan in all-black attire. She wore a black ribbed full sleeves tee that she paired with black tracks. She looked pretty in her short hair as she fixed her sunglasses on her forehead and covered her face with a maroon mask. On the other side, Khushi Kapoor kept it quite casual and comfy. Khushi wore a white coloured hoodie that she paired with black tracks. The cutest part was that her pet Panda had come to receive her at the airport. Agastya too looked dapper and was received by his sister Navya Naveli Nanda.

As we all know that Khushi Kapoor will be making her big Bollywood debut in Zoya Akhtar's The Archies, which will also mark the debut of Shah Rukh Khan's daughter Suhana Khan and Amitabh Bachchan's grandson Agastya Nanda. It also features Mihir Ahuja, Dot, Yuvraj Menda, and Vedang Raina. The first look and teaser of the movie were released on May 14. It is an adaptation of the famous Archie comics and will be released on Netflix in 2023.

In a latest media chat, Boney Kapoor expressed his pleasure about his daughter Khushi's debut in the industry. He also disclosed that Janhvi Kapoor essayed an important role in her little sister's debut. Boney told that Khushi had expressed her desire to become an actor after Janhvi began shooting for her debut movie, Dhadak in 2018. Later, as a part to prepare herself for the acting profession, Khushi was sent to New York Film School in 2019.

Furthermore, he also revealed that The Archies is the perfect launch project for Khushi. Calling it a 'dream project', he told that this film has the advantage of taking the older generation audiences on a nostalgic trip as everyone has been a big fan of Archie. Boney revealed, "It is a double whammy. The youngsters in any case will revel in the iconic world of The Archies."
