Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina’s sizzling avatar at an event in Mumbai!

The next movie starring Alia Bhatt, Jigra, is finished and will hit theaters later this year. In this gripping thriller, Alia and Vedang Raina—who made her acting debut in The Archies—will collaborate for the first time on screen. The couple recently went to an event, looking amazing in their chic attire. An image that encapsulated their fashionable flair added to the excitement around their on-screen encounter in Jigra.

At an event in Mumbai last night, Alia Bhatt, who is acting in the upcoming movie Jigra, looked stunning. The actress looked like a business lady and projected confidence while sporting a stylish black pantsuit and golden jewelry.

Attending the event was Vedang Raina, who costarred with Alia in Jigra and gained fame for his role as Reggie Mantle in Zoya Akhtar's The Archies. Vedang looked really put together in her white shirt and black jeans. Recently, an undisclosed image of the couple surfaced online, showcasing their easygoing fashion sense as Alia's arm affectionately encircles Vedang's. The picture was shared on the Instagram account of famous stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania.

The actors concluded shooting Jigra in Singapore last month, and to celebrate, they shared adorable set images. The film's director, Vasan Bala, is praised for crafting a gripping drama about a jail escape. Produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Alia Bhatt's Eternal Sunshine Productions, the movie looks to be an intense and dramatic cinematic experience.

Jigra will be released in cinemas on September 27, 2024.

 

Alia Bhatt begins filming for Vasan Bala's directorial Jigra!

Alia Bhatt, who has won praise and appreciation for her exceptional performances in well-known films like her most recent effort, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, is ready to dazzle her fans once more with her new production, Jigra, directed by Vasan Bala. The actress shared a series of behind-the-scenes photos from the sets to alert fans that production has begun.

Several behind-the-scenes photos from the Jigra set were previously revealed by Alia Bhatt. She released the photos to inform followers that filming had started. The Dear Zindagi actress captioned it, "& we're rolling .. day one of bringing our jigra to life.. stay tuned as we bring to you a piece of our hearts.. fingers and toes crossed for the journey aheaddddddd .. love TEAM JIGRA."

In the opening picture, Alia is seen staring at a screen that has the word Jigra written on it. Some of the shots showed the actress getting ready in the cosmetics room, and one of the pictures even featured her sister Shaheen Bhatt.

Replying to Bhatt's post, Sonam Kapoor commented, "Congratulations darling! (red heart emoji) @converse.india." Zoya Akhtar dropped some happy emojis.

In the past, Alia also informed her followers that she would be producing the movie through her company, Eternal Sunshine Productions, in partnership with Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.  Her heartfelt post read, “Presenting #Jigra, directed by the extremely talented @vasanbala and produced by @dharmamovies & @eternalsunshineproduction. From debuting in a Dharma production to now producing a film with them, in many ways, it feels like coming full circle from where I started. Film Jigra is scheduled to release on September 27, 2024.
