RRR’s Srinivas Mohan to get nomination for Oscar nomination in the Visual Effects category?

A top publication has predicted that filmmaker SS Rajamouli's RRR is likely to get an Oscar nomination in the Visual Effects category.

The well-known filmmaker SS Rajamouli, who has delivered huge hits like Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion in the past, is yet again roaring under success as his movie RRR earned over Rs 2000 crore at the box office internationally this year. This movie is a work of genius and features actors namely Ram Charan, NTR Rao Jr, Ajay Devgn, and Alia Bhatt in key roles. As per latest media updates, a leading publication has predicted that SS Rajamouli's RRR will likely earn an Oscar nomination in the Visual Effects category.

The popular international tabloid recently stated that Srinivas Mohan would likely be one out of five nominees in the Visual Effects category for his work on RRR. As per to the top tabloid, Top Gun 2, Avatar 2, Black Panther 2, and The Batman will be the other nominees in this category.

Yet, there is no official confirmation of this development yet.

Meenakshi Sheshadri reminiscences working with Jackie Shroff in ‘Hero’!

Well-known Bollywood actors Meenakshi Sheshadri and Jackie Shroff were famous stars in the world of Hindi Film Industry in the 1980s. They both have shared screen together in numerous movies such as Allah Rakha, Hero, Akayla, Mera Jawab, and Dahleez to name a few which are cherished by people to date.

In the latest media update, Meenakshi Sheshadri remembered working with her ‘Hero’ Jackie Shroff. On her Twitter account, she shared a pic with him and captioned, “Hero ki heroine!!”.

Talking in detail, the 1983 movie ‘Hero’ is a romantic action film directed by Subhash Ghai. The movie was declared a hit at the box office back then.

In a recent interview with ETimes, Meenakshi shared that she wishes to make a comeback in Bollywood soon. Speaking to the publication on November 16, she said, “I want to return to movies. I want to act again. Aisa lag raha hai jaise kuch adhura reh gaya tha.”

Alia Bhatt says, Gangubai gave her confidence to speak!

Bollywood well-known face Alia Bhatt is one of the most versatile actresses in the film industry.  As per media update, her movie Gangubai Kathiawadi is amidst campaigns for the prestigious Oscars and BAFTAs awards. Alia essayed the titular role in Gangubai Kathiawadi, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Alia Bhatt has been admired by one and all for her brilliant performance as Gangubai in the film. Now, in a latest media chat, she opened up about the qualities and characteristics of Gangubai that she retained, and revealed all the positive things that she learned from her character.

In a media chat, Alia Bhatt was questioned about qualities and aspects of Gangubai that stayed back with her. Alia revealed that while she comes from a protected background, and the Kamathipura set was the first time she had walked the streets of that area. She disclosed that while she didn’t go there physically, her process of discovering Gangubai happened through her conversations with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and through his lens.

“The positive things that I learned from her, which is actually very, very similar to my personality is that she never let that childlike innocence go, even though she was fighting this big bad world, and being a part of this big bad world, so to speak. Her innocence and her vulnerability was intact, despite having to play this very strong role for these women,” revealed Alia. She further revealed that it also gave her a lot of guts to speak in a big room, something she had been nervous to do since she began working at a young age.

“I’m constantly told how young I am and it’s always been that way since I started working. So very often, I would just feel a little nervous to speak my mind or say anything, because I was so young, you just feel like you don’t really have a place in the room. That’s something that it gave me - a lot of confidence to speak and to go with my gut and to say what I need to say. That’s one thing that I felt very strongly from this character,” revealed Alia.

 

Sanjana Sanghi and Pankaj Tripathi to come together for a film!

Recently, actress Sanjana Sanghi was seen in an action movie titled Rashtra Kavach Om along with Aditya Roy Kapur. Though the movie didn't perform well at the box office, but her act was loved by the audience. Sanjana began her filmy career as a child artist in Imtiaz Ali's Rockstar co-starring Ranbir Kapoor and Nargis Fakhri. Now, she is all set to unite with Pankaj Tripathi. As per media reports, she will be playing lead in Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury's forthcoming movie.

Well-known director Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, who has received a National Film Award for his movie Pink starring Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu, will be directing the movie. The yet-to-be-titled movie will rotate around a father-daughter relationship. A source revealed to a media source, "With the combined writing pedigree of Andhadhun’s Pooja Surthi and Kahaani’s Ritesh Shah, Sanjana Sanghi is all set to headline National award-winning director Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury's upcoming currently untitled father-daughter drama alongside Pankaj Tripathi, who essays the role of her father in the film.”

On the film front, Sanjana is currently busy shooting for Dhak Dhak. It is being produced under Taapsee Pannu's production. The movie also stars Dia Mirza, Ratna Pathak Shah and Fatima Sana Shaikh.

I would love to work with Ajith, Vijay, Allu Arjun and Karthi, says filmmaker Rohit Shetty!

Recently, the cast and crew of the drama film Cirkus attended the all-star trailer launch event for the movie. For the information, Housefull 4 star Pooja Hegde is also a part of the cast as the leading lady. At the event, director Rohit Shetty opened up about making a movie with South actors.

The Singham director disclosed that he would love to work with Ajith Kumar, Allu Arjun, Karthi, among others. He was quoted telling, "I would love to make a film with everyone from the South. I would love to work with Ajith, Vijay, Allu Arjun, Karthi, and everyone else."

When Rohit Shetty was questioned about admirers wanting to see Ranveer Singh and Vijay Joseph together, the filmmaker revealed, “I will try to bring them together.”

SRK to wrap up the shooting of Dunki!

Recently, Bollywood superstar dropped an exciting update regarding his forthcoming movie ‘Dunki’. This movie is being directed by Rajkumar Hirani and features Shah Rukh Khan along with actor Taapsee Pannu in the lead roles. Dunki is scheduled to hit theatres in December 2023.

On his Twitter account, Shah Rukh Khan revealed his fans that he has wrapped up the shooting schedule of his forthcoming movie Dunki in Saudi Arabia. Posting a video from the shoot location, he revealed, “There is nothing more satisfying than completing a shooting schedule as is with Dunki here in Saudi Arabia. I want to thank Raju sir, Abhijat (Joshi), Manosh, and the rest of the cast and crew for making it so lovely.”

“And a special thanks to the Ministry of Culture and Films here in Saudi Arabia for giving us such a spectacular location, amazing arrangements, and such warm hospitality. Soha Ali Khan spills beans on her role in Nushrratt Bharuccha starrer Chhorri 2!

As per media updates, Bollywood actress Soha Ali Khan has joined the cast of Nushrratt Bharuccha's horror movie, Chhorri 2. It is the remake of 2017 Marathi movie Lapachhapi, which rotates around a pregnant woman whose unborn child is targeted by evil spirits. The movie premiered on Amazon Prime Video on 26 November 2021. Later, in December after the success of part one, a sequel was announced by Nushrratt. The Ram Setu actress will be seen essaying the lead role in the sequel.

Recently, Soha Ali Khan took to her social media handle to reveal her fans that she will be part of the horror movie Chhorri 2. She shared pics on her Instagram handle and she posed with Nushrrat. She captioned the post: "Thrilled to share with all of you that I will be entering the Chhorii universe in a truly unique role. I can't wait to show you guys what we have in store for this edition… #Chhorii2 #FilmingBegins."

Speaking about entering the Chhorii universe, in an official statement Soha Ali Khan expressed her excitement and told, “I am thrilled to join the cast and be a part of the world of Chhorii. The role that I play in Chhorii 2 is truly unique and a significant departure from the work I have previously been a part of. I really enjoyed the first edition of Chhorii, and am excited to up the horror quotient in this edition.”

Varun Dhawan reminisces Ajay Devgn's guidance after his first flop movie!

Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan is enjoying the success of his latest film, Bhediya which is doing well at the box office and has also been receiving a positive response from the viewers. Presently, Varun's Bhediya faced stiff competition from Ajay Devgn's crime thriller, Drishyam 2.

In a media chat, the Badlapur actor spoke about it and called Devgn a 'rockstar.' Varun revealed that he has always admired Ajay and is in awe of how he takes success and failures in his stride. The Sui Dhaaga star also specified that he was the first person to call him when he had his first flop (October). Varun said that he liked the way he handles his career, and his expression remains the same. Calling him the 'MS Dhoni of actors,' the actor said that Ajay is so inspiring to youngsters. "I have to say this about him when I had a string of hits and one film didn’t work, he was the first person to call me up and asked how am I doing," revealed Dhawan.

“I told him this is the first time (my film has not worked) and he told me, ‘It doesn’t matter, people love you, you are here to stay. It is part and parcel, keep moving on.’ He is an actor I really admire,” further revealed the ABCD 2 actor.

Taapsee Pannu’s Blurr promotions soon after after shooting for Dunki!

Presently, Taapsee Pannu is readying for the release of her forthcoming movie, Blurr, which will be released on ZEE5 on December 9. Directed by Ajay Behl, Blurr stars Gulshan Devaiah in the role. The film is set in the hills where Taapsee’s character Gayatri is trying to find answers about her twin sister’s ill-fated death. The actress, who has been shooting for Dunki with Shah Rukh Khan in Saudi Arabia, is all set to return to Mumbai to begin promotions of her first movie as a producer.

As per media updates, ahead of the release date, the cast and crew of the movie will be returning tomorrow to Mumbai for promotions of Blurr. It is an official remake of the Spanish film Julia's Eyes. Previously, chatting about the flick, Taapsee revealed, "Blurr taps into different sensibilities of an individual and that is purely why I decided to produce it as my first film. Donning the producer’s hat has been a spectacular experience. Apart from acting, I wanted to be creatively involved in the production, conception, and various aspects of filmmaking which are seldom glamorized. Essaying the character of a woman pushed to the brink of mental endurance due to her sister’s death was vulnerable, raw, and clawing.”

Big B recalls throwback time when earned Rs 1640 a month living in a tiny room!

Well-known star Amitabh Bachchan’s illustrious career spans over 5 decades. The Mard star has a huge fan following. But Big B has had his fair share of struggles during his initial days. In his blog, Amitabh Bachchan recalled the good old days and remembered his initial days in Kolkata when he used to earn a meagre Rs 1640 a month way back in 1968. He also wrote that he used to share a tiny room with 7 others.

In his blog, Amitabh Bachchan posted a screenshot of a tweet that read, “The last day of @SrBachchan's job in Blackers company in Kolkata was 30th Nov 1968. Salary 1640 Rs. File is still preserved there till date.”

Big B then admired over the fact that there’s still a record of this after so many years. He further added that those days in Kolkata were the most independent, free times of his life. Amitabh Bachchan shared that he stayed with 7 others in a 10 square feet room.

He revealed they would check out popular eateries in Kolkata after their office hours, even though they had no money to enter these places. “8 of us in a 10′by 10′ room .. those were the days my friend .. office hours, then evening with the guys checking out the joints of popularity .. no money to enter them, but standing around with the hope that someday we shall .. and we did .. pooling in .. buttering up the gate keepers .. telling them when time improves shall look after them .. haha never happened ..” wrote Big B.

Big B then shared how his life has changed from then to now. He talked about visiting the same places, meeting people from the old days, and visiting the same old streets once more.

Hansika Motwani heads to Jaipur with mom for her grand wedding!

South diva Hansika Motwani, the bride-to-be, who is all set to wed businessman Sohael Khaturiya was snapped at the Mumbai airport. She was accompanied by her mother as they are heading to Jaipur for her grand destination wedding on December 4. The Aap Kaa Surroor actress opted for a floral co-ord set with boots, perfect makeup, and sunnies.

Hansika Motwani and her mom are heading to Jaipur for her wedding. She will tie the knot at the Mundota Fort and Palace in Jaipur. The sangeet and mehendi ceremonies will be held on 3rd December. As per media reports, the couple is expected to dance on a medley during the sangeet, which will begin with a song about friendship.

The marriage itinerary further includes a Sufi night on 2nd December, a polo match and a casino-themed after-party as part of the wedding celebration.

Popularity comes with difficulties, Vijay Deverakonda says on ED interrogation!

South celebs Vijay Deverakonda, Puri Jagannadh, and Charmme Kaur's pan Indian Liger, which tanked at the box office, has landed in trouble with a money laundering case.

Recently, the actor was interrogated by the Enforcement Directorate for 12 hours over the investment for his movie, Liger. After the questioning, he talked to the media and revealed as a duty he came because the officials called that's it.

Talking to the media after being interrogated by ED for 12, Vijay Deverakonda reevaled, "I gave few answers to the questions asked by the ED officials. They have done their job. The popularity that comes with the love also shows some difficulties. This is an experience in life though. They did not tell me to come again."

Earlier, director Puri Jagannadh, and producer Charmme Kaur were questioned about the source of investment for the movie and were grilled by the ED office for saveral hours.

Asha Parekh’s displeasure over Indian women choosing western clothes!

Recently, veteran actress Asha Parekh, who attended the 53rd International Film Festival of Goa (IFFI), asked why Indian women choose to wear western clothes while speaking at a session. The Padma Shri recipient expressed her displeasure over the same, stating that 'Everything has changed'. She pointed out how gowns have replaced ghagra-choli, saree, and salwar kameez at Indian weddings.

The Pagla Kahin Ka actress, while talking at a session in the 53rd IFFI, specified that everything is so westernized. "Everything has changed. The films that are being made. I don’t know, we are so westernized. These days, girls are attending Indian weddings, wearing gowns. Arre bhaiya, humari ghaghra choli, saariyan aur salwar-kameez hai aap wo pehno na. (We have ghagra choli, sarees, and salwar kameez, why don't you wear those?)” asked Asha Parekh. "They just watch the heroines on the screen and wish to copy them. They just want to wear the clothes that are worn by the actors on screen. No matter even if they are fat or not, they just want to wear those clothes. I am very sad about westernization," further added the 80-year-old actress.

Veteran Sarika talks about her comeback with Uunchai!

Recently, National Award-winning actress Sarika made comeback in the Sooraj Barjatya's Rajshri Productions with film Uunchai after a gap of almost 50 years after their movie Geet Gaata Chal (1975). She began acting when she was 5. The path was undoubtedly not easy for her but quite a rollercoaster ride, full of ups and downs, successes, and setbacks. 55 years in showbiz and it has been a story full of many twists and turns for Sarika.

Recently, the Hey Ram actress opened up about what kept her always moving and looking at the positive side while going through personal struggles and emotional turmoil.

"The rollercoaster kept me moving. It had its moments of fear, moments of thrill, and excitement and it goes down & up. That's the fun part and instead of looking at the lows and celebrating the highs, that's a good way to go ahead I feel. Besides working at the age of 5 which is not an ideal thing as you should be going to school, having proper childhood, and playing but that doesn't happen and you look at only the brighter side. We don't know how life is going to unfold but someone up there knows what life is all about, they know the screenplay. If you look at that, getting a break with BR Chopra, working with Sunil uncle, Madan Puri, all through the childhood that was my school, childhood," revealed Sarika.

In 2016, Sarika decided to take a break from acting and joined theatre. "That was a very conscious decision to not act. I just did backstage like production side, the rough and tough work," the Jab Tak Hai Jaan actress disclosed.

On breaks and making comebacks, Sarika answered, "It came naturally. I'm a very passionate actor but I am very comfortably taking breaks. I don't know how many times I have done that. The first time when I took a break, I wanted to stop because I had done enough work. People start at 25 but I had lived my whole life in front of the camera by that age. It was the most rewarding moment for me and focus my shift on personal life because that needed 100 percent. In 2016 when I took a break, as a person and not an actor I felt I was waking up and going to sleep and wasting days of my life. I consciously decided to not act so that I don't wait for the role to come."

Did she face judgements for her choices and making comeback in the industry? The Parzania actress disclosed, "When I took a break in 2016, few people told me- 'Listen, you are getting super excited just because you made a comeback last time after 18 years. You think you will be able to do this but you won't be able to make a comeback because you are not as young as you were 18 years ago'. But I was ok with that because I'm real."

Bollywood’s powerful couple Kajol and Ajay Devgn’s daughter Nysa Devgan may not have forayed into Bollywood yet, but she is a well-known star kid in various viral videos and social media posts. The star kid has numerous fan pages on Instagram, and pics of her partying with her friends often go viral on social media in no time at all. During Diwali, Nysa impressed fans with her glamorous ethnic outfits, and while her fans adore her and shower her with love, there is also some social media users who troll her and leave offensive comments that are uncalled for.

In a media chat, Kajol was questioned how she responds to social media trolling. Kajol replied that she feels trolling has become a strange part of social media. She then laughed and added that if one is trolled, it just means they’re famous. “If you are trolled, you are noticed. If you're trolled, you're famous. It's like you're not famous till you're trolled,” she revealed. When asked if it affects her, she said that it does, but that there’s only a limit to which these things can be taken seriously. “I will be stupid and I will be idiotic to say that it does not affect me. But yes, there is a certain level that you can take it seriously.”

Kajol further revealed that she explains Nysa that for every one or two trolls who post nasty comments, there are a thousand other fans who think she is fantastic. "And most important of all, what do you see in the mirror? Whose opinion matters? My opinion matters. Not your own,” she joked.

Fatima Sana Shaikh reveals about her epilepsy diagnosis!

Recently, Bollywood actress Fatima Sana Shaikh disclosed that she has been suffering from epilepsy. November is National Epilepsy Awareness Month, and in a bid to raise awareness about it, the Dangal actress advised her followers on Instagram to share their struggle, challenges and stories of epilepsy.

In a latest chat, the Thugs of Hindostan actress talked about her battle with epilepsy. She remembered the time she had an epileptic seizure on a plane, and how lucky she was to have survived it.  She also disclosed why she hadn’t talked much about it until now.

While talking to a daily, Fatima Sana Shaikh disclosed that she was rushed to the medical facility of the airport after getting seizures on a flight. She was hospitalized for two days, and had no familiar face around her. Fatima said that it put her life on hold, and that she thought she was really lucky that she survived. “It kept my work and life on hold. For me this was a big jhatka, I really thought I’m lucky that I survived. I’ve had big episodes in the past, but this was the most difficult as I was all alone. Now I cannot travel alone, I need someone with me,” she told.

She further revealed that it was after that episode, that she talked about her epilepsy for the first time on social media. She disclosed that while she hasn’t hidden her neurological condition, she just never got a chance to talk about it. Fatima said there’s a lot of stigma attached to epilepsy. “You think log sochenge that you have an ailment. I didn’t want people to think I’m weak. I was scared that if I tell people that I have this then I will not get work. I, also, didn’t want to accept that I have a neurological condition,” she told.

On the film front, Fatima Sana Shaikh will next be seen playing the role of Indira Gandhi in Meghna Gulzar’s Sam Bahadur.

Amitabh Bachchan recalls late veterans Vikram Gokhale and Tabassum!

As we all know that veteran actor Vikram Gokhale passed away at the age of 77 in Pune on November 26. He had been undergoing treatment there after being admitted a few days ago. His last rites were performed by the family. On the other side, Tabassum breathed her last on November 18 after suffering a cardiac arrest. Big B penned a touching note as he recalled them. Kartik Aaryan’s sleepless nights and ‘lonely’ feeling after shooting of Freddy!

Well-known star Kartik Aaryan is one of the most talented actors in the film industry. Currently, he is promoting his forthcoming thriller Freddy which is all set to release on Disney Plus Hotstar.

In a media chat, Kartik Aaryan talked about his character in Freddy. He said, “I have worked on the smallest of details of his character. I even had visited a dentist to learn about their profession.”

The actor also disclosed that he was asked to ‘mock patients’ in order to fit his character’s needs. “When you start behaving like a character, things do happen to you in a similar way then,” he told.

Talking about visiting a dark space after filming Freddy, Kartik Aaryan revealed to a daily, “I had heard about it from other actors and had read about it too. I did go through it. I won’t lie about it. I was someone who liked to spend a lot of time with his family and friends, but after Freddy, the I had become a loner for a while.”

“Suddenly I started thinking like that. I had started to get weird thoughts in my mind and there were also sleepless nights,” the Dhamaka actor told.

Bollywood’s Shahenshah Amitabh Bachchan is regarded as one of the most successful and powerful actors in the history of Indian cinema. On Friday, 25^th November 2022, Delhi High Court passed an interim order to prevent the unlawful use of Amitabh's name, image, voice, or any of his personality attributes. The order is a landmark verdict, the first of its kind in India, which is not only against the defendants namely Rajat Nagi, Rana Partap Singh & Ors. but also, the world at large for misusing Bachchan’s name, image, voice and personality attributes.

Eminent lawyer Harish Salve along with Ameet Naik and Pravin Anand, instructed by Anand and Naik, appeared for Mr Bachchan in the High Court. Ameet Naik, Joint Managing Partner of Anand and Naik specified “This landmark verdict will injuct any person from using the name, image, voice and other personality attributes of Mr. Bachchan without his consent and authorization by any means, physical or digital. The Indian jurisprudence will finally develop and evolve on personality rights and Mr. Amitabh Bachchan is the right personality to set this trend.

He revealed, “We are pleased that the Delhi High Court has presented this landmark verdict and am grateful to Mr. Salve and Mr. Praveen Anand for this trend-setting order which will help talent in our country to protect their personality rights”.

The HC has passed a detailed order against the defendants and the world at large, injuncting them from infringing his personality rights and attributes, including his name ‘Amitabh Bachchan/ Bachchan/ AB/ Big-B’, image and voice. The HC has also directed the DOT and Ministry of Electronics & IT to pull down all links/websites that infringe upon Bachchan’s attributes.

 

I have faced loads of ups and downs, says Yami Gautam Dhar on her career progress!

Well-known beautiful actress Yami Gautam Dhar is one of the most gifted actors in the Indian film industry. Recently, Yami’s film ‘Lost’ was premiered at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) on 24^th November 2022.

Just before the movie ‘Lost’ was about to be screened, Yami took to Twitter and wrote, “What a perfect platform for Lost to kickstart its journey! Thank you #IFFIGoa for such a warm reception and a fantastic response to Lost!”

Remarkably, the film ‘Lost’ got an Asian Premier at IFFI Goa, 2022. “#Lost sets @iffigoa on fire. Received an extraordinary response at its Asian premiere,” the actor tweeted.

Speaking on this development, she revealed, “My journey is still on...I have faced loads of ups and downs but it's all worth it in the end."

She further added, "Right after my debut film, in fact, right after the success of the film I did feel lost...I did not know which way to go. I was not able to connect to the opportunities I was receiving at that time...'Do I stay without work or do I take these opportunities and still try,' all these thoughts used to linger in my mind...it took me a while to understand my own self and how to channelize my voice. I had to rediscover myself to understand what's my purpose of coming all the way here and leaving my hometown.”

On the film front, Yami will be seen next in ‘OMG 2 – Oh My God! 2’. This forthcoming movie is being directed by Amit Rai.

Aanand L Rai reveals the reason behind the failure of Raksha Bandhan!

The talented well-known filmmaker Aanand L Rai had a bumpy career with some huge successes and some big failures. Aanand L Rai's last outing Raksha Bandhan, which featured Akshay Kumar in the lead role, ended up as a commercial disaster. The film was criticised by the viewers for its outdated content and unreasonably melodramatic narrative.

In a latest media chat, Aanand L Rai specified that Raksha Bandhan failed because he tried to put the movie in a bracket. "I was wrong while making Raksha Bandhan when I thought let me give them something which is more of India and let me cater to the audience in the B and C tier cities. I was wrong in differentiating between the audiences. That is not my job. I should have focused more on the story rather than selecting the audience to whom I want to cater," revealed the well-known filmmaker.

"This is my learning from the film. We are trying to find out what story will engage the audience at this moment and in this phase. Post-pandemic we have failed the audience with that. Maybe, I went too smart with Raksha Bandhan. I was trying to put it in a bracket and that's what went wrong. It was my fastest film but I relished it. I never made this film in a rush. I had fun. I was always gutsy and never played safe. But I think subconsciously I tried to do that with Raksha Bandhan and failed miserably. I learned that I should keep on doing my work, without thinking of the box office." Further added Aanand L Rai.

The filmmaker is now set to release his forthcoming production venture An Action Hero, in December. The action thriller, which features Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead role, and Jaideep Ahlawat in a key role, is directed by newbie Anirudh Iyer.

 

Govinda Naam Mera is joy ride for Vicky Kaushal!

As we all know that Vicky Kaushal is one of the brilliant actors in the Hindi film industry. The Masaan actor is well-known for his vivid portrayal of many intense and layered characters. Now, Vicky Kaushal is now set for a complete track change with his forthcoming movie, Govinda Naam Mera. The Shashank Khaitan directorial, which is advertised to be a comedy thriller, features Vicky in the titular role.

In a latest media chat, the actor talked about Govinda Naam Mera. As per the talented star, shooting for Govinda Naam Mera was a fun-filled experience for him, till the end. "For me, the entire shooting time was an absolute fun ride. Finally, all my 'sorrows' came to an end with this film. It was the first time where I went through an entire filming process without doing any scene where I had to cry. In every film, there will be a few scenes where we know that they need preparation. When we finish shooting such a scene, we will feel like the film is wrapped up. But, this film was just a joy ride from the beginning till the end."

"Nowhere I was reaching the set with some kind of stress or prep, or thinking that I have to be in this particular zone. The only zone I was in, was like - just be free, just be mentally relaxed, so that you can create humour on the spot. And I just had the best people along with me to create that. So for me, it was genuinely a super fun ride," further revealed Vicky Kaushal.

Film Govinda Naam Mera is scheduled to get an OTT release on Disney Plus Hotstar on December 16, 2022.

Akshay Kumar’s reunion again with Vaani Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu for Khel Khel Mein!

Bollywood’s evergreen actor Akshay Kumar is all set to return with a comedy film and has signed a new film titled Khel Khel Mein. As per media updates, the Khiladi actor has come on board in director Mudassar Aziz's next comic entertainer. The movie will be produced by Bhushan Kumar and Ashwin Varde, but the timelines of the shoot are not known yet.

As per media reports, Vaani Kapoor and Taapsee Pannu will also be a part of Khel Khel Mein.  With this, Akshay will reunite with his two co-stars. Earlier, the Entertainment actor collaborated with Vaani in Bell Bottom, while Taapsee and Akshay were seen together in Naam Shabana and Mission Mangal. The report further revealed that in addition to this, the movie will also feature Punjabi singer and actor Ammy Virk in a key role. More actors will be soon coming on board, but details are yet to be finalized. Meanwhile, the film is expected to go on floors next year.

Bhumi Pednekar talks about her character in Govinda Naam Mera!

Now, Bollywood celebs Vicky Kaushal, Kiara Advani, and Bhumi Pednekar will be soon seen together in Govinda Naam Mera. The trailer has been released, the movie is helmed by Shashank Khaitan and backed by Karan Johar. As per new updates, this comedy entertainer will be released on Disney+ Hotstar on December 16. In the movie, Bhumi Pednekar is essaying the role of Vicky’s wife and her character name is Gauri Waghmare. The actress has been getting a lot of admiration for her acting and dialogue delivery in the comic thriller.

Talking about her role, Bhumi tells, “I’m actually thrilled that filmmakers can feel that I can really work hard and try and pull off any role that they offer me. That to me is the biggest validation for my work and my skill set as an artiste. My character in Govinda Naam Mera is me trying to do something disruptive again, trying to change it up again with each film and hopefully wowing people with my performance.” She further adds, “I hate to be put into a mould and I constantly look to challenge the status quo and do something subversive. I’m delighted that audiences are loving my character in the trailer. It’s just a tease of what to expect in the film. She is a firecracker of a woman; she is grey and I love her because she is just hilariously entertaining.”

‘I don’t write stories, I steal stories’, says V Vijayendra Prasad!

Lately, the opening ceremony of the 53rd International Film Festival of India (IFFI) was held in Goa on Sunday in which numerous Bollywood stars Ajay Devgn, Kartik Aaryan, Varun Dhawan, Sara Ali Khan, Paresh Rawal, and Suniel Shetty attended the event.

On Monday, the screenwriter of movies like Baahubali and RRR, V Vijayendra Prasad attended the event and highlighted his content creation and story-telling process.

Talking on the second day of the nine-day-long festival, Prasad revealed, “I don’t write stories, I steal stories. Stories are there around you, be it epics like Mahabharat, Ramayan, or real-life incidences, there are stories everywhere. You need to represent it in your unique style.”

As we all know that V Vijayendra Prasad is a famed screenwriter of blockbuster movies like Baahubali, RRR, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and Magadheera.

He further revealed that he always tries to create a hunger within the audience for his story.

“The pursuit to create hunger among the audience for your story kicks off creativity within you. I always try to create a hunger within the audience for my story and characters and that drives me to create something unique and appealing”, revealed the famous screenwriter.

He went ahead and elaborated on his style of screenwriting. Prasad revealed, “I always think of a twist at the interval and organize the story accordingly. You have to create something out of nothing. You have to present a lie, which looks like the truth. A person who can tell a good lie can be a good storyteller.”

Recalling his experience of writing for the blockbusters like Baahubali and RRR, Prasad said, “I don’t write, I dictate stories. I have everything in my mind; the flow of the story, the characters, the twists”.

He later said that “one good writer should cater to the needs of the Director, Producer, Primary Protagonist and Audience.”

IFFI is scheduled to be held from November 20-November 28.

Recently, Chiyaan Vikram took to his official social media handles and revealed his new look for Thangalaan, to the surprise of his fans and followers. The actor's initial look for the film had him sporting a long hairdo with a thick beard. However, he is sporting a shaven head, with a much longer beard for his second look in Pa Ranjith's film. "With great beard comes great responsibility!! #thangalaan," wrote the National award-winning actor, who looks stylish in aviator sunglasses and a black pullover, in the pics.

As per media updates, Chiyaan Vikram and Pa Ranjith are now busy shooting a huge fight sequence for Thangalaan, in Madurai. This fight scene is said to be the biggest highlight of the film, which is being made on a huge budget.
