Alia Bhatt's stunning first look as Sita in SS Rajamouli's magnum opus RRR!

On the occasion of lead star Alia Bhatt’s birthday, the makers of Ram Charan and Jr NTR starrer RRR released the first look of the actress from the forthcoming magnum opus. Alia Bhatt will be seen essaying the role of Sita opposite Ram Charan in the movie. The first look has taken social media by storm and once again, the Gangubai Kathiawadi star has managed to grab the attention with her captivating avatar.

We can see that Alia is wearing the same moon-shaped locket around her neck that Ram Charan as fiery Ramaraju was seen wearing in a glimpse from the climax scene? Ram Charan's description of Alia's Sita role also defines the same. Star Ram Charan wrote, "She adds meaning to Ramaraju's mission! Meet my #Sita, a woman of strong will and resolve."

Sita is the epitome of strong will and resolve. From the bindi to her braid and powerful look, Alia's both looks are vintage and strong-willed. SS Rajamouli brings 'fire' Ram Charan and 'ice' Jr NTR to 'rise, revolt, roar' - Alia's Sita look with diyas in the background and hope in her eyes speaks volume of the same.

RRR is slated to release on October 13, 2021.

Tamannaah Bhatia rejects all reports of her being miffed with SS Rajamouli!

Blockbuster film Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is creating history as it continues to break record after record becoming the first Indian movie to collect over INR 1000 crore globally.

But, lately the gossip mills were abuzz with the reports of actor Tamannaah Bhatia, who plays the role of Avanthika in the film, being annoyed with director SS Rajamouli after a few scenes of hers were edited. Tamannah who had a meatier role in the first part was only restricted to 3-4 scenes in the second part.

But, now the actor has come out and rejected all these reports calling it 'baseless'. “This is imagination of somebody who is very jobless. I am and will always be thankful to Rajamouli sir for casting me as Avantika. This news is baseless and I am very happy that I worked in this film,” Tamannaah said to a famous tabloid.

She further revealed, “I always knew what my role was. I have great respect for Rajamouli sir and I am proud to be part of such a cult film. This film has changed my life as an actor and has absolutely raised the bar for everyone in the film industry."

Clarifying why Tamannaah had lesser scenes in Baahubali 2, writer KV Vijayendra Prasad had told, "Baahubali - The Conclusion happened in the flash back where she can’t be there so there is no scope for her to be included in second."

Directed by SS Rajamouli, the movie stars Prabhas, Ranna Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia among others in key roles.

I am very confident as a storyteller but doubting myself as a filmmaker, reveals SS Rajamouli at the launch of the motion poster of "Baahubali 2: The Conclusion"!

Filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli, who broke numerous records with his work of genius "Baahubali: The Beginning", reveals he is very confident as a storyteller, but has doubts about his filmmaking abilities.

"When I tell a story, I am very confident. I know I can blow people's mind when I tell a story. While making a film... on the editing table, I make changes 100 times. Go back and forth, I am always doubting myself as a filmmaker. But as a storyteller, I am always very sure of myself," the filmmaker told at the ongoing Jio MAMI 18th Mumbai Film Festival with Star.

But the movie's cast members, who were also present at the fest, had only good things to say about Rajamouli.

Actor Prabhas told, "Rajamouli can make shots and scenes better every day...be it on set or in the editing room."

His co-star Anushka Shetty shared that he doesn't lose his temper on sets, but takes care of minute details. "He is a taskmaster and very patient too."

Actress Tamannaah Bhatia thanked him for giving her an opportunity to be a part of the film. She told that her character Avanthika has influenced her a lot.

"When I was cast for this part... all the films that I had done earlier always had me playing a dainty character and always very pretty. This one is with a sword, brave and has to fight 6 ft 2 inches tall Prabhas and has to look convincing while doing that. So, now whenever I have to do anything brave, it doesn't stop me. 'Baahubali' has changed the way I look at myself," she told.

The motion poster of "Baahubali 2: The Conclusion" was also launched at the event on Saturday.

Asked about a third part of the movie, the director revealed, "We have so many stories. I don't want stories to end. There are different ways to continue stories. Films are part of it. We have back and forward stories."
