Nushrratt Bharuccha opens up about her family’s reaction to her decision to be an actor!

Nushrratt Bharuccha is regarded as one of B-town's gifted stars today, having starred in numerous successful movies. She first worked in television before launching her acting career in 2006.

On May 17, she turned a year older. Here, we look at how she overcame family expectations that acting was only a hobby by working hard to fulfill her passion.

Following her roles in movies such as Pyaar Ka Punchnama and Love Sex Aur Dhokha, Nushrratt Bharuccha rose to fame. She has accumulated an outstanding filmography over the course of her career, which includes hits like Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. But did you know that her family used to believe that she would give up acting in two months and that it was only a hobby?

The actress talked about her experience in the business and her family's response to her decision to become an actor in a previous interview with a media source. She informed the agency that she had a dream that, in her opinion, no one in her circumstances would have had for as long.

 The Dream Girl actress explained how her family felt about her wanting to be an actor, “Everybody in my family thought it (acting) is a hobby and I will be done with it in two months and I will do something else. I don't know what exactly was that one thing that kept me going. It feels this is what I was meant to do and it does give me a lot of joy.”

She mentioned that she doesn't come from a family in the film industry and talked about overcoming obstacles and disappointments in the same interview. “I don't have connections. I did films that were majorly male-centric. I have had my share of setbacks and dealt with it,” the actress revealed.

She continued by saying that each person has a unique path and set of challenges. “First, the problem is one doesn't get the scripts and roles they like to do. They wait and settle for the ones that are offered and are best. Then when one becomes successful then (also) it is like 'What to do next?' So that struggle is there,” Ram Setu star ended her chat.

Regarding her career, her upcoming film is Chhorii 2.

Soha Ali Khan spills beans on her role in Nushrratt Bharuccha starrer Chhorri 2!

As per media updates, Bollywood actress Soha Ali Khan has joined the cast of Nushrratt Bharuccha's horror movie, Chhorri 2. It is the remake of 2017 Marathi movie Lapachhapi, which rotates around a pregnant woman whose unborn child is targeted by evil spirits. The movie premiered on Amazon Prime Video on 26 November 2021. Later, in December after the success of part one, a sequel was announced by Nushrratt. The Ram Setu actress will be seen essaying the lead role in the sequel.

Recently, Soha Ali Khan took to her social media handle to reveal her fans that she will be part of the horror movie Chhorri 2. She shared pics on her Instagram handle and she posed with Nushrrat. She captioned the post: "Thrilled to share with all of you that I will be entering the Chhorii universe in a truly unique role. I can't wait to show you guys what we have in store for this edition… #Chhorii2 #FilmingBegins."

Speaking about entering the Chhorii universe, in an official statement Soha Ali Khan expressed her excitement and told, “I am thrilled to join the cast and be a part of the world of Chhorii. The role that I play in Chhorii 2 is truly unique and a significant departure from the work I have previously been a part of. I really enjoyed the first edition of Chhorii, and am excited to up the horror quotient in this edition.”

Nushrratt Bharuccha’s women centric film ‘Akeli’ with debutant director Pranay Meshram!

As per media updates, well-known actress Nushrratt Bharuccha will be seen in a drama thriller titled ‘Akelli’ in her next film. The Janhit Mein Jaari actress will be playing a titular role.

For the information, the Pyaar Ka Punchnama actress made a mark in the Bollywood industry by playing powerful roles in movies like Love Sex Aur Dhokha, Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Dream Girl, Chhorii, Ajeeb Daastaans and Janhit Mein Jaari.

Recently, she informed fans that her forthcoming drama thriller film is titled Akelli. The movie will be directed by debutant filmmaker Pranay Meshram under the production banner of Dashami Studioz.

On the film front, Nushrratt will next be seen in the historical drama Ram Setu with Akshay Kumar and Jacqueline Fernandez.

Nushrratt Bharuccha starrer Janhit Mein Jaari’s sequel is on card!

As per media updates, Nushrratt Bharuccha-starrer 'Janhit Mein Jaari', which is a tale of a young girl selling condoms, is going to have a sequel with another exciting subject issued in public interest as planned by the makers of the movie, disclose media sources.

Unlike other socially relevant movies, this one was headlined by a female star, Nushrratt Bharuccha. The sequel is on the cards headlined by a female star only.

The movie was made on a budget of Rs 20 crore including the cost for prints and advertising worldwide, it has already recovered Rs 23 crore in its satellite, digital and music rights. Additionally it received a Rs 2 crore subsidy from the Madhya Pradesh government and close to Rs 4 crore at the box office.

As per sources a south production house has approached Bhanushali Studio Limited for the Tamil, Telugu and Punjabi remake rights of 'Janhit Mein Jaari' with an A-list female star in each language.

The movie sparked much-needed discussion around the taboo subject and it would be thought-provoking to see how it's adapted for different regional audiences!

In the video, the Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 actress told, “A few days back I added two posters from my film on Instagram, in which I, a woman, am seen promoting condoms but people took it in another way. Generally, people share the best comments on their profiles but since yesterday so much has been happening with me so I decided to share the worst comments that I've received”. She shared a glimpse of the lewd comments she had received and concluded the video as, “This is the type of thinking I want to change. But no worries, you point fingers at me and I will raise my voice”.

Nushrratt Bharuccha’s loveable Selfiee with Akshay Kumar!

Recently, the evergreen star Akshay Kumar pronounced his next movie Selfie with Emraan Hashmi. Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi have teamed up for Raj Mehta’s directorial project, Selfiee, which is the official remake of the 2019 Malayalam movie, Driving Licence.

Now as per latest media updates, Nushrratt Bharuccha will be the leading lady of Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi's movie Selfiee. Nushrratt has been roped in to essay an important part in the movie. This would be Nushrratt's second film with Khiladi Kumar. Akshay and Nushrratt will be first seen in the movie Ram Setu as well. Ram Setu is backed by Akshay Kumar's production house and will be directed by Abhishek Sharma.
