Bollywood star Varun Dhawan is amongst the successful actors
in the existing lot with no flops under his name. The actor is getting
approached for some fascinating movies and in different genres - action, comedy
and romance.
As stated by a leading daily, he is being considered to essay
the lead role in the Hindi remake of the Telugu superhit film Arjun Reddy. The
film was apparently passed over by Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor.
This movie will again bring Sajid Nadiadwala and Varun
Dhawan together after their 2017 super-hit Judwaa 2. A source specified,
"The film is currently being scripted and will be amended to suit
Bollywood's audience. It revolves around a philandering, alcoholic, drug
addict, a surgeon who falls in love with an innocent medical student. Dhawan,
who is currently busy with YRF's Sui Dhaaga, will have to sport a leaner look
for the part."
The Hindi remake will be directed by Arjun Reddy director
Sandeep Vanga. It is expected to go on floors by mid-2018.
